Happy Tuesday company!

It's a theme week that starts here. Yes, it's a theme week that starts on a Tuesday! Well, why not? What can I say... Even if the photo and graphic content is ready, the writing is still more or less live, and as we're still in the antipode of Paris, working conditions are a little extreme, but I'm pleased to announce that lemonade and chai will be flowing here this week! We've prepared some inspiring and escapist content for you, with a destination I've been loving: India. There's so much to say about this country... I think it's a destination that leaves no one indifferent, whether you fall in love with it or hate it.

I went there with my best friend 6 years ago, for 5 weeks, and it was a blast! I think we brought with us all the books we could find on this culture, on their religion... I was enchanted by the multiplicity of faces in this country, but also appalled by the human condition, the omnipresent poverty and the condition of women, which I saw most of all during our trip. This is truly a land of contrasts! But I remember coming back changed, not really knowing what to make of what we'd experienced, and I'm convinced that it opened my eyes to how lucky we are to live in a country like ours, even if it recharged me with a thousand colors, smells and sounds. As soon as we came across the slightest colored wall, I went crazy, and then the paintings, the statues, the smells, the elephants, the cows, the spices, the jewels, the fabrics, all these things created a whirlwind of memories for me.

When I met Fanny B., who lived in Jaipur for 7 years, and she talked about the madness, the slowness and the color of this country, it all clicked: I want to go back... So I don't know when this trip will take place, but this idea is making its way and I felt like delving back into my memories, giving you a glimpse of all that this culture has inspired me... I leave you here with a little mood board of images I've gleaned from the following websites Pinterest ! And I'll see you tomorrow for the first DIY of the week!
