TUTO HAIR BARDOT, AMY, AUDREY AND JOHN TOO
Hello my little cats!
A few months ago I posted a photo on Instagram of Brigitte Bardotall fresh and dapper and a little sauerkraut-y. I have to say that Brigitte has mastered messy hair to perfection. And then I tried to do the same thing, photographically we were on a very similar result, but on me it looked more like a morning after party hairstyle. So I looked for other iconography and finally found a compromise between Audrey Hepburn and Brigitte Bardot, but when it came time to do it, with my color freshly done, I realized that this tutorial had quickly turned into Amy Winehouse...
I've tried to be as explicit as possible in the subtitles. Anyway, you'll see that it's an instinctive hairstyle, I promise you, you don't need to be an expert with a bun pin, say a girl who's not into braids.
And this tutorial came just at the right moment because John Frieda contacted me to promote the release of their new Luxurious Volume 7 Jours hair range. To be honest, I'm lucky enough to have a lot of hair. Too much sometimes. But I still wanted to play the test game and opted for the Volume 7 Jours Detangling Care and Semi-Permanent Treatment. The product's promise is natural volume, so I wasn't afraid of ending up with hair X2 either. And then for a while, my hair grew a lot and the impression of lightness after styling was short-lived, it was like leaden - well I don't have mermaid hair either - but very quickly, it ends up being a bit always flat on top. I'm sure you know what I mean... Anyway. After two shampoos where I mixed Semi Permanent Treatment Volume 7 days + Detangling Care, I noticed the difference. Not the same day or the day after, but 4 or 5 days after application: the volume is still there! So I don't have a root detachment either, but my hair has a nice thickness, it's sheathed, softer and lighter all at the same time. I can't imagine the result on fine hair! Still, to achieve this tuto, you'll need a bit of texture for a result that's a bit WOW.... And also: hairpins and clips, a brush or comb, hairspray and a headband for a slightly modern look (the one in the video I found at Claire's). I hope you enjoyed it, and it even makes me want to learn and experiment with new hair directions...
By the way, if you're feeling gamey, there's a little contest going on! John Frieda until September 20 on their Facebook page.
