Hello my little cats!

When I was asked to write this article in collaboration with Comptoir des cotonniersthe brief was to make a video showing me cycling around Paris with the new comptoir parka... Oui oui oui, a bit like a new Martine opus, after "Lisa s'est fait couper les cheveux par Fred", "Lisa fait du vélo dans Paris" so rather than taking you on a tour of Parisian clichés, I wanted to show you a "typical" day, or rather how I'd like my ideal days to be: soft, simple and light... With the luxury starring grey parka, navy blue parka and small print parka (my favorite), the part of the video where I try on the three parkas is quite realistic, as I've recently been diagnosed with an illness, "it takes me 100 years to leave home". The symptoms are: remembering that you've got a tiny little thing to do when you cross the threshold: turning off a light switch, taking an invitation, brushing your teeth, redoing your eyeliner, changing your jacket because you're not sure... I'm taking care of myself, because the complications of this disease can lead to the "I'm always late" syndrome... To be banished, because punctuality really is a quality and not a defect, I was once told.

Now that we've closed the rabbit's footnote, I'd like to introduce you to Charlotte, my assistant, my support, my second brain, the one who keeps the store running when I procrastinate... Charlotte, you're going to get to know a little more about her, because very soon she'll be hosting the "making of" section and telling you all about what goes on behind the scenes of my various activities...

Well, it's all sublimated, as my day is usually punctuated by a lot more interaction with other people, business meetings, friends dropping by to make jokes, help us cut things, come to "work in their heads", the letter carrier, couriers, neighbors coming to see how the boxes are coming along, etc... And all this sprinkled with 48 phone calls, 230 swear words beginning with the letter "P", 12 daily hugs (minimum) to Frida and 63 "We need an office!"

Don't you have an office at home? Yes, I do, but right now it's home to boxes, things to sort, scraps of paper, overflowing suitcases and laundry to iron... Not exactly videogenic, but so much more real this room... And then I noticed that Charlotte and I are looking for light, a bit like green plants, and the living room really is the brightest room, or maybe we're looking for another room to vandalize... Anyway, so here's my dream day: in the morning, Pinterest, emails and todo list for the day, Charlotte arrives, I give her the day's assignments, we work together, I run off to lunch, or to a business meeting, sometimes I even manage to do both at the same time, I run errands for the productions in progress, I work in my head on my bike, I come home, we work some more, we joke, we listen to silly music and when I'm motivated (and that doesn't happen every day) I run off to the gym! After that, it's up to me!

Big hugs to you! And I leave you with this little Parkesque look, I'd already been won over by Mademoiselle Plume, which I wore under my coats in winter... The new Parka is so practical, I've packed it in a little pouch at the bottom of my bag, always ready to go....
