Happy Friday!

Yes, deer, it's changing and it's just as sweet as a little cat! Today I've lent the spotlight to sweet Maya, who works with us on the e-commerce side of things for Wear Lemonade, to show you the Ada skirt pattern. The only good reason is that we cut this skirt in a non-stretch fabric in a size 36... And that my hips are sneaking around with Vaseline in them, but the buttons are close to exploding! So the important thing to remember here is to take your measurements before you start! Use your hips as a base, and don't worry about the waist, because the back is elasticated! And yes, the owl is not stupid!

I must confess that I absolutely must cut one to my size, because I love the Madmen-style cut! With a pair of Converses basses in a floral motif, or even in a mustard velvet or tapestry fabric! Anyway, I digress, this skirt was made from an IKEA upholstery fabric I'd found a few years ago, and I thought that with the look of the skirt, it would be a good seventies mix!

I wanted to ask you if you'd like to see different silhouettes for the sewing patterns; I'm not leaving the ship, but I think it would be a good idea to alternate "my body" with that of the Lemonade Studio ladies, to make it easier for you to project your sewing projects!

What you need to know about Ada :

  • The pattern can be found hereThe pdf version has been available in your customer area since the day before yesterday. How would you like a newsletter to let you know when a new pattern is online?
  • You'll need 1m85 of fabric for a width of 1m40 for the largest size, or 2m of fabric for a width of 1m10 for the largest size.
  • I'd advise you to use a thick fabric that holds together a little, such as corduroy or denim, or like us, an upholstery fabric.
  • You'll also need 7 nice buttons, or 7 20mm snaps,
  • 1m elastic 0.75mm wide
  • You'll need to be meticulous, because the only thing that's a bit tricky are the pockets, but it's worth it!

New features for the pdf subscription are coming very soon, but we've planned an article to tell you all about it: you should enjoy it! Stay tuned!

Big hugs and kisses!
