Happy Friday 91! Soon 100 Friday street style appointments! I'm not sure what I could pull off, an all-glitter look? All yellow? On the moon? Haaaaaa I wonder what could be so surprising, I'd have to go and look for an unusual place... To be continued, I've still got a bit of time, but it's still pretty hectic up there!

Well, you know what? Working on the next collection has got me in top form! As you can see, we've been working on one top project after another with great people, and that gives me the strength to lift mountains! Last week, we shot the next Wear Lemonade collection, and if you follow me on Snapchat, you must have seen a little bit of it... So yes, I'm on Snapchat, so it's a bit new for me, I'm experimenting and if it's not great anyway, it'll fade away... But it's quite refreshing all this spontaneity, I feel like I'm 100 years old when I write this: my nickname is makemylemonade, original isn't it? Anyway, today it's a slightly different kind of Happy Friday: 3 (or 4) ways to wear Carlotta high-waisted shorts!

It's about time I posted Carlotta, because with its little curly heart and despite the weather, it's driven you crazy, and stocks are melting like snow in the sun! Let's start with the dark version, which I find super chic, I have a passion for Ottoman. It's a material that looks like grosgrain ribbon, but it's actually a fully striated fabric, a rare and complicated dinginess to produce. Many spinners stop making it, but luckily we found a few rolls in the stock of one of our suppliers, so we went for it!

I'm wearing Carlotta shorts and a floral blouse. Zara (current collection), and a Zara from a past collection, with my Louboutin stilts.
And here I'm wearing the shorts Wear Lemonadewith a bodysuit Urban Outfitterblack jacket, Jonak ballet flats and a Maxi Tote Bag.

So, in addition to showing you my butt, I'd like to tell you about the navy blue mottled Ottoman version, which I think is perfect for hot summer days in the city. It's totally a piece you can wear to the office with a smart look: blouse and jacket, or a sexier look with a plunging neckline, but don't wear heels with shorts and a plunging neckline, it's a bit like the rule of red lipstick and heavy eyeliner... You have to make choices. But you don't normally need heels to lengthen your legs with these shorts, because with their high waist and flared cut, the optical illusion is perfect!

Here I'm wearing the shorts Carlotta Chambray version, a vintage Ana Sui blouse and a pair of flat boots. Jonak x Wear Lemonade boots and a wicker basket.
And here I'm wearing a Vichy blouse I found on Jack Wills, a cardigan LindyBopchambray shorts Wear Lemonadewedges Mellow Yellow

I'm so looking forward to going to Lacanau in a Carlotta and a one-piece swimsuit, and going to the beach, zoning out in my parents' garden and drinking Spritzs with my sister without ever leaving my shorts, like a second skin. I have a passion for denim and chambray, materials that have been with us since the start of the Wear Lemonade adventure! The Carlotta shorts in sky blue can be worn as a pirate version with a lace blouse, or as a Brigitte Bardot version with a powdered topcoat, but of course all this is infinitely adaptable. I can't wait to discover your photos on social networks, and we're preparing some lovely surprises for the upcoming collection, and in the meantime, Save the Date: Falbala the ruffled blouse arrives on Monday!

Many thanks to Olitax for these photos and his help with my undressing in the middle of the 18th arrondissement! See you soon!
