Oulalala
I've just come back from a little stay in Portugal which did me a lot of good, a vacation with my girlfriends, the basis for a fresh start.
I got back and logged on, discovering 95 comments, a mixture of kindness and aggression - I'm not afraid of words, but that's how I received them. But I suppose that's life. I'm revealing myself and opening a breach into which some of you are rushing. As I read you, I receive kindness and love, and over the past few days I've received some emails that have done me a world of good, warmed my heart and made me realize just how much I love my job.
I don't feel like justifying myself point by point on the various criticisms made of me. Because deep down, I don't want to spend all my energy explaining why I'm not a manipulator, or a liar who lives in a perfect world.
So yes, today I still feel like sharing with you my favorites, my good plans, my jobs and my moods. But I've seen that some people say that I don't always have to post a photo of my tidy home or a too-perfect DIY.
Well, no, I'm sorry, but for me, coming here is like getting dressed up, or welcoming you to my home, it's important that it's spotless, and you can see from the way I express myself that I don't live in a violet macaroon.
Besides, I want this Make My Lemonade blog to be an inspiring place, or at least I'm trying to be. Showing you the truth about my daily life is my own business, and I don't think it would be enriching for you readers, who already have enough to do with your own. So, without any pretentiousness, I'm going to keep on trying to post pretty things that soothe me and make me feel good, and which I hope will also pique your curiosity and trigger the desire to "do"...
