Happy Friday my kittens!

Yes, for those of you who have been following me for a long time, I saw that you jumped at the hair jungle going on in my previous article... Summer has come and gone, it's getting a bit blonder, it's growing out, I don't know if it's causal or not, but it's exhilarating to feel the tips of your hair tickling the top of your back! And I have to admit that I'd like my hair to be long again, but not too long... And then there's my wedding coming up and I'd like to have lots of hair, I don't particularly want a chignon, but we'll see what the inspiration is for a chignon! the artist on the big day...

I could talk about hair for hours... I've long wanted to follow the trend, or rather the temptation, to go short, but I have to face the facts that I'm lazy when it comes to hair, and that running after my hairdresser every 15 days for maintenance isn't really my thing. Plus, I have to style it every morning... whereas I dream of putting it up on top of my head in a chignon some mornings! I feel like I've been a follower for a long time. Let me explain when people used to say to me ",-I love you with short hair", "you look like a doll with long hair", or when my mother used to tell me to "love me" with long hair but prefer it when I have a loose face, my friends, my loves, etc.... In retrospect, I often felt I was following their advice just to please them, and in the end it was only recently, when I looked back at my hair chart, that I really asked myself how I really liked myself. All this to say that I feel like I've achieved hair peace. Hooray! I really like this long bob period between Sophie Marceau in the boom and Freja Beha the model, and now I'm off on a quest for the perfect color... I promise my scalp I won't go back to platinum blonde, but I'll do a few variations on the same colour. t'aime theme...

Hair truce. Today it's a little "back to school" happy friday, but not too much. I'm planning to continue wearing my Paloma overalls to meet this dear Indian summer, and keep my Ikea straw basket as a schoolbag for a gentle resumption... I'm trying to tell myself that this helps me prolong the life-saving effects of vacation! By the way, I haven't emptied my stan smiths from the sands of Canadian beaches... What can I say, I hold on to the little things!

So to jazz up my dungarees and summer basket for back-to-school, I decided that wearing a flowing trench coat and a pair of dinguo shoes would be the winning combo... And now you're thinking I'm crazy because I'm cycling in 12" heels... Well yes, this isn't a stunt for the photo... It's a bit of a workout but very practical and my feet hurt a lot less at the end of the day!
