AGENDA THE DAILY LEMONADE 2016
Hello my little kitties!
I hope you had a great weekend! We are so exhausted but it was so nice to welcome our Parisian readers at the office for the Wear Lemonade Christmas sale! We read your remarks about opening the sale on the website at the same time but it would have been too complicated for us. You know we are fresh beginners in terms of e-commerce but we learn fast! I thinking about a solution on the long term but as we are not HTML geeks, when we have an idea, it takes so long to put it in place but we heard you!
Last Friday, we received at the Studio, the 2016 agendas! I am so happy! I am in love with stationary so I am glad to present you a Wear Lemonade agenda! Some other stationary products are coming for the next collection launch! In this agenda, we imagined 365 national festive days of the lemon republic to make you smile all year long. Moreover, we wanted it to be as beautiful as useful. For example, we spaced out the lines so that you can really write all your appointments and we added mantras at the beginning of each month that represent the values of our company (with a page dedicated to monthly objectives and more)! Anyway, I am in favor of the paper agenda return because I never forget what I have to do because there is something with handwriting that helps me remember information...
I let you discover the agenda on the eshop and do not hesitate to click on the little numbers under the picture of the product description to see more of them. I almost forgot! You have been so many to ask for the "mon petit chat" sweater return... I am so happy to see that you are all interested in it and I am really wondering if we should produce it again or not! Anyway, this weekend has been crazy and I am sure 2016 will be too!

MUSING YSL PART 2
Happy Sunday my little kitties!
Today I am going to show you another part of our collaboration with YSL beauty. The first story was the occasion to reinterpret Monsieur Saint Laurent famous muses. For this photoshoot, we wanted to show the Saint Laurent style from nowadays. It was a bit complicated because the Maison changed its artistic director more than once but since Hedi Slimane is in charge, the style is more radical and I think he wants to live in his own time as Saint Laurent did. For a long time, his predecessors have reinterpreted the emblematic codes of the brand whereas Slimane is innovating and is passionate with his own period of time style.
On the first picture, I am wearing an Alain Figaret shirt, a vinyl jacket from Mademoiselle R, Comptoir des Cotonniers pants and Texto shoes. On the left picture, I am wearing a suit from Comptoir des Cotonniers, Louboutin shoes and a polka dots shirt from R essentiel. On the right picture, I am wearing a shirt and a jacket from Mademoiselle R.
With Pauline Darley it was obvious: we had to take black and white pictures for this photoshoot because these "colors" are the signature of the new Saint Laurent era. I tried to imagine rock'n'roll looks, to go beyond my comfort zone with more feminine silhouettes but also "party girl" outfits. Even if Saint Laurent style is really dark, we often find some shiny fabrics and glitter that I love so much... During this photoshoot I felt in love with my glittery wedding dress.
This amazing lipstick is the Rouge Pur Couture The Mats N°206 Grenat Satisfaction!
It was a real pleasure to work with this so inspiring team. When I met Emilio to work on the makeup looks before the photoshoots, he had in mind a smoky eye look, a bit glossy even with a perfect skin! I really am obsessed with my skin at the moment and I discovered amazing products such as the skin ink and a concealer (in a lipstick shape) I will talk to you later in this post. I was really happy to meet Emilio, this amazing make up artist, because more than giving me a porcelain complexion, he made me laugh so much and wanted me to play the actress to interpret these different women. I am not used to it! I was laughing between each pose...
On the left picture, I am wearing tartan pants and shoes from Comptoir des Cotonniers, a lurex body from Princesse Tam-Tam. On the right picture, I am wearing a Tara Jarmon dress and a leather perfecto from Comptoir des Cotonniers.
Thank you Pauline Darley for these pictures but also Emilio Benedetti and Cyrielle Favreau, Muriel and Alexandra for their trust! Products used:
- Top Secret Instant Radiance Moisturizer
- Teint Encre de Peau B30
- Touche Éclat Blur Primer
- Radiance Touch N-2
- and the famous concealer
I send you big kisses and do not forget to participate to the advent calendar!

SEWING FABRICS: POLYESTER
Hello sewing girls (and boys)!
Another post in this little sewing fabrics section, this time we are going to talk about polyester and I am sure you do not all like it.
What is it? It is a synthetic fiber that we have created. It is an amount of molecules that come from the reunion of other molecules and alcohol. It produces a product that can be laddered and stretched. Then, these fibers can be weaved and knitted between each other or mixed with others. Polyester is very solid and rot-resistant (we advise you to recycle your clothes). It absorbs humidity, is very stretched and soft, and also resistant to some chemical reactions and insects (such as moths). For this reason, we can transform it into technical fabrics for sports for example. However, it is very heat-sensitive so be careful with the temperature of your iron!
How do we recognize it? The simplest way is to burn it. The fabric is going to shrivel and melt creating a small ball or a dark drop (solid once cold).
How to use it? We do not recommend it for people with sensitive skins such as babies or children but also for those who often sweat because the fiber does not absorb water. However, it is an ally to bring some elasticity to your fabric or for water-resistant clothes. Be careful, you cannot dye it!
Which weave to choose? Do not hesitate to choose a mix with other fibers, natural or not. We recommend you jersey (knitwear) to have a fluid and soft cut or canvas and cotton poplin for the elasticity (in shirts or dresses). You can take a "crepe" weave for the softness and it is crease-resistant! Very practical for those who have an iron phobia... Tulle is also more and more in polyester because it is cheap but it is itchy! Last interesting fabric...you can find "narrow" fabrics (that are often sold as neoprene but it is not true) that are woven fabrics (canvas or knitted) stuck together so that the material is rigid and full (it is very nice for skirts and structured dresses).
You see that even if it is non-natural, this fiber has advantages. Let's sew!

SAVE THE DATE: THE LEIA BLOUSE
Hello my little kitties!
On Wednesday the 9th at 11am, the blouse Leia is coming! Few months ago, I asked for your advice on Instagram about the pattern of this delicate blouse. At the studio, we couldn't decide between polka dots, classic white and black little stars. Many of you thought it was obvious to choose the stars due to the name of the blouse (Mom, in December, there is the new Star Wars opus, the Leia princess/stars, you know...). However, most of you agreed on the fact that the polka dots are now a basic: "Polka is the new black"... At the end, we decided not to choose so we did the 3 different versions in very limited editions!
On Wednesday, you will be able to watch the instruction video of Leia and the pattern will be also available on the website. You will see, Leia seems very simple but it is finally a bit more complex (still accessible do not worry). This month, we are going to teach you how to do tear-resistant slits, it is not insurmountable you will see but a bit tedious! I hope you will like Leia. I made some concessions regarding the Pierrot neckline so that everyone can wear it, at the office, with a blazer, high-waisted jeans, a leather jacket or a short skirt. We also took care of the finishing touches with nice French seams and covered small buttons. You will be able to find Leia in 3 different versions: cream, soft viscose with stars and black silk with white polka dots. Finger crossed! I hope Leia will be your must-have, a kind of white shirt in a lemony version! Until then, "Save The Date", on Wednesday the 9th at 11am on Make My Lemonade and Wear Lemonade to adopt the pattern for €14.90 and the blouse for €79.
To end with an exclusivity, Leia (only the blouse), Malia, Rosa and Stella are going to be sold from Friday at our studio for our Christmas sale that will last 3 days. For the occasion, we transformed the office and installed the previous collections and prepared exclusivities and goodies for your presents!
The sale will take place at the studio: 80 rue du faubourg st denis, in Paris. It is the right time to find gift ideas for a small price. All the information (codes, floor, access) are accessible on the Facebook event!
- - Friday from 1pm to 7pm
- - Saturday and Sunday from 11am to 7pm
I cannot wait to see you! I think we are all a bit nervous to welcome you in the transformed studio! I send you big kisses!

BIG EFFECT LOW BUDGET[:]
Hello my little kitties!
As Charlotte told you yesterday, we found lots of ideas to make you tones of gifts DIYs! However, gifts we make ourselves are often looking at those children are creating at school on Mother's Day. I am not criticizing the wonderful French teachers (sister I love you) but I already experienced the gift preparation with cheese boxes and other detergent barrels for years. It is not really a good idea.
Then two conclusions came to me: the first one is that I have to forget about recycling when it comes to quality presents. The second one is that we have to focus on simple and noble materials. For example, it is always better to use Canson paper a bit heavier than usual. Instead of choosing a basic grey and unisex sweater it is sometimes better to find more fitted cuts from Zara for example, a bit more expensive I know but you will not need to make a loan either...
This DIY is super easy to make and can be offered to everyone as goodies. The idea is to make your own chocolate bars. You can find nice recipes here. If you want to have a more delicate result, you can use smaller molds. I tell you this because it can be a good idea to make lots of bars and put them in each plate before dinner! Maybe you will recognize my Canadian pictures of the trees forests!
For this DIY you need:
- - The packaging patterns to download here,
- - Scissors,
- - Scalpel,
- - Ruler,
- - Stickers,
- - Chocolate bars,
- - Tissue paper.
Start to download and print the packaging patterns of the bar. Choose the option "do not put on scale" in the printed options. Print the polka dots pattern on one side and the trees ones on the others. You can also find a blank pattern so that you can customize it yourself! Once everything printed, cut the paper with a ruler and a scalpel.
For the notch that is going to help you close the packaging, use scissors to make it rounded, you will see it is easier than with a scalpel! Now using a scalpel, draw the lines (following the doted lines) so that the folding will be easier. Do not forget to cut a little hole so that you can put the notch in and then close the packaging.
Preform the packaging thanks to the lines. The inside is with polka dots and the outside with trees or the pattern you want!
Now take a tissue paper sheet and wrap the chocolate bars up.
Cut the paper surplus, fold as if it were a present and fix the both sides with stickers.
Put your wrapped chocolate bar inside, close the back of the packaging with the notch.
Make sure the notch is well fixed or use a sticker if you want. Here we are!

BEST OF: THE BEST CHRISTMAS GIFTS DIY
Dear otters,
Today is the day: Christmas is coming and each year you are going to find a last minute present, in a crowded shopping center... all this energy to finally buy a gift for yourself while drinking a hot chocolate in a cafe "to reward you because you handled this terrible day".
Now it is over or at least, the Lemonade Team will help you to avoid this situation. Indeed, today I am going to show you the best of our DIYs that will be perfect for a Christmas gift. The countdown has begun, you only have 24 days to work on it and have the pleasure to see your friends asking you for tips on the 23rd at night. I do not even talk to you about the moment your family will open your presents and the famous "I did it myself!" For those who already realized all the DIYs (you are crazy!) do not worry because lots of new ideas are going to be posted here in the next days.
Let's start with the Mexican fringes DIY to pimp all your lace-up shoes. It is simple and easy! Make sure the person you are going to offer the present to has the adequate style (if she already owns a fringes perfectoit is perfect!)
You can also choose the To The Moon And Back DIYthe DIY of love, if you cannot afford a trip to the other side of the world, you can still go to the moon.
The Sailor bag DIY is a classic. It can also be a nice gift to offer to a man (yes we planned it).
As we also love the youngest, we recommend you the Muppet DIY that will be a very nice DIY to do during rainy days. No allergy excuses, we can adopt them all.
Few days ago, we posted the Moveable Feast DIY that was very welcomed during this dark period. We though it would be a nice Christmas present but you can choose the landscape you want.
I remember you were all very excited to win the Milk bag DIYs. It is time, one year later, to make your own! It will be a good excuse to watch lots of movies at home and you can also make one for you.
The Weekly Headband DIY is easy and you will not have one gift to offer with seven! It is a very good idea for the girls who sew a lot and don't know what to do with the fabrics they have left.
This one is not that old but I think the Break In Case DIY is clearly a Christmas must-have that can be adapted to any situation and to everyone: I personally would like to create a "Break in Case of Hunger" filled with chips.
A small bag, a sewing kit, a purse, everything is possible with the Cat Pouch DIY! I know, this post is starting to look like a teleshopping ad... I can do better.
The Disco Dino DIY is one for the easiest and fastest of all. You just need a dinosaur, some glue, and glitter and here we are! In order not to have a long negotiation with your little cousin, you can find the perfect dinosaurs here.
For those who are more patient: the Embroidered Shirt DIY. Believe me, it really worth it (did I already tell that we are doing contests at the Lemonade Studio about the most unlikely expression?) I advise you to use your best glasses!
As you know how much we love glitter, confetti, and disco balls, I had to show you the Pimp my Socks DIY! You'll have a good excuse to explain to your lover the reason why you are wearing sandals with socks in winter.
I send you big kisses my otters and do not forget to send us your pictures at [email protected]!

THE APP OF THE MONTH: SIMONE
Happy Monday my little kitties!
I hope you spent a nice weekend in your cozy home! I am back today with a section a love: the app of the month! I have to tell you that I have not been paid to tell you this and I wanted it you to know. The app is SIMONE. More than being the name of my beloved grandmother, this app allows you to order a manicure wherever you are. To sum up, Simone is the Uber of the nail polish. This app is not for the girls who love nail art and manager it but for those who are not really good at nail polish and want to have a nice manicure. I am really addicted to semi-permanent nail polish for 3 reasons:
- - I don't have to wait for the nail polish to dry for 1h30.
- - I can create piñatas, fix my bike, and wash the dishes without cursing the whole cosmetic industry.
- - I take my hands in pictures every 2 days for the DIYs and other sewing tutorials so I have to have clean nails.
I used to go to Parisian institutes and it costs around €40 for the manicure/care/semi-permanent nail polish package. These places are always crowded during lunchtime and they close early (7pm, when you are running your own company, believe me it is early). That is why it is a bit complicated for me to go there. Simone arrived and now I can order my manicure at the office during lunchtime or even until 9pm if I want, in Paris and the surrounding area: that is paradise! It seems simple but it is a real revolution in my nail polish addicted life and it is not more expensive than in institutes.
With Simone, you feel very comfortable, even if your flat/office/hotel room is a mess, it's not a problem for them. You can always sit at a table corner to get your nails done for 1h while drinking some tea, relaxing and watching your favorite series.
You can also do it with your friends... during a girls' night or even for a wedding preparation with your bridesmaids. It is perfect! Anyway, I just love Simone and I wish them success and to open their services in all the French cities... The app is available on the Apple store but you can also contact them by email to book a manicure or to make a surprise to one of your friends! I send you big kisses and see you tomorrow for the December marathon!

HAPPY FRIDAY #79
Hello my little chickens!
Today I am going to talk to you about a lot of very important things including our Wear Lemonade Christmas sale! Yes, the sale will last 3 days... from Friday the 4th at 12am to Saturday and Sunday the 6th (from 11am to 7pm)! Yeah! Save the dates! During this sale, you will be able to find lots of exclusive gifts ideas but also few pieces from our oldest collections (discount prices) and of course the current collection with the silk blouses!! It is going to be Christmas! The sale will take place at the Lemonade Studio that we are going to transform, especially for the occasion, in a real boutique with fitting rooms! Do not hesitate to come with your friends, sisters, mom or even your lover to give him some inspiration! I cannot wait to see you there and to transform the studio to welcome you!
Another important topic I would like to talk to you about: jumpsuits... You know how much I love them. I think I could only wear them at the moment, I don't know why but when it is winter I am a kind of closet-lazy person. The jumpsuit is easy to wear, you only need to put it on with a nice pair of shoes, and a coat and you are ready. As I like to be very cozy at the moment, I only wear bodies as underwear. Do you see what I mean? Well, it is not very practical sometimes but I can save time during the morning because I am not trying 12 different outfits on... I think I can also be able to add tights under my jumpsuit to avoid the 2nd sock hunt...
I found this jumpsuit on Asos and I customized it changing the string by a baby blue one. I love it! I find the color so cool, very "particular" and it is different from all my grey outfits. When I wore it for the first time, my lover told me: "Did you make it yourself?" I asked him that I didn't... and he seemed relieved. He confessed to me that it was not his favorite outfit... #diplomacy. Then, I was thinking about all the pieces we love but that men do not. I guess it is a matter of habit because I am so happy wearing my jumpsuits that he is finally trying to accept them.
I am wearing an Asos jumpsuit, a Zara coat, a hat from Goorin Bros that I found in Vancouver but they have an eshop, the Diego boots Jonak x Wear Lemonade! I see you next weekend?
Thanks Olitax for the pictures!

MEET DEBEAULIEU
Hello everyone!
Today I am going to talk to you about Pierre Banchereau because we are in a soft and delicate mood. I often heard the sweet Lili talking about this amazing "Debeaulieu" florist.
Then, for the 10th anniversary of the Cafe Mode blog, (this date is one of the most important of 2015 to me) I could admire the wonderful floral compositions that we could find everywhere... Later on, I learnt that it was Debeaulieu's work. When I interviewed the nice Fanny B. from Gemmyo, I felt in love with a floral composition I saw in a vase (by Debeaulieu of course). While preparing my wedding with Aurelie, (I talked to you about her here) she talked to me about Pierre, once again. Anyway, Debeaulieu is THE name everyone knows when it is about beautiful flowers.
I finally can reach Pierre, and I ask him if I can film in his boutique (in the 9th district of Paris). He accepts and I am so happy!
I finally arrive in his boutique one morning completely soaked to the skin but you know sometimes in Paris it happens... I have never been that intimidated before. I really admire his work and capacity to create, sculpt, and innovate with flowers. I have the sensation that he does not use the usual codes of a classic florist because he composes his bouquets with his feelings. To me, Pierre is a painter, an embroiderer, a designer, and an artist that uses flowers. After spending one hour in his shop looking at all these wonderful colors, I went outside and the sun shone. It was a sign...
Pierre recently became a florist but it is like he always wanted to be one. Indeed, he is doing it for 4 years now. He was working in human resources before and wanted to do something new and innovative. Since then, he is creating amazing bouquets and flowers are a universal language: the one of the beautiful. He is always inventing unusual compositions and likes to use forgotten flowers.
His bouquets make me think about still life paintings from the 17th century with gorgeous colors!
- "Decision-marking question": Which event convinced you to go for the amazing and tumultuous entrepreneurship adventure?
For me, it was obvious. Once I took the decision about doing this job, I didn't want to work for someone because I wanted to choose the flowers, my identity and my own way to present and mix them together, and so on...
- "Guidance counselor question: Was the florist job obvious for me? Or did you choose to start the entrepreneurship adventure without knowing what you would do?
No it was not obvious. I was interested in many jobs. It was an important decision to make especially during crisis periods. I think I did the right things: meet professionals and schools, get information and then choose.
- "Starting question: What did you do after leaving your old job?
I went to the florists' school of Paris in the 19th district. Then, I did some few months internships with 3 different florists. At the same time, I was working on my business plan and market research but also looking for a place.
- "Lifestyle question: Then you opened your own boutique with your own universe, codes and rules. What inspired you the most?
I loved participating to everything. It was essential to me to think about everything with the different professionals. I was very excited when we signed for the shop because it started to look like something and the (good) stress increased!
- "Detail question": In your shop, there are a lot of objects and you always use some vintage colored ribbons in your bouquets... is the style as important as the content?
Of course it is. It is essential. I really want my compositions to be perfect!
- "Sky is the limit question": Today in your boutique, a lot of people are coming and the phone is always ringing... how do you see your future?
Ahahaha... Some people may say that curiosity is a bad thing but I think it is a nice quality! Today, DEBEAULIEU is growing very fast and I think it is better to give it some time to enjoy and focus on its current activity! However, we have lots of ideas...
- "Fundamental question: Where do you find your inspiration?
I find it in fashion, design, my history and past, my friends, on vacation... I always need to feel the time!
- "Memories question": What is your oldest memory concerning flowers?
I went to the florist when I was 5 for Mother's Day with a small budget (around €5) and I was waiting for my change...
- "Peter Pan question: Which job did you want to do as a kid?
When I was younger I wanted to be architect or optician...
- "Survival question": If you could only bring one flower with you on the moon, which one would it be?
A magnolia flower.
Debeaulieu, 30 rue Henry Monnier, 75009 Paris. I went there this morning and Pierre is currently preparing amazing Christmas crowns with flowers he left to dry all year long...

WEAR LEMONADE #11 MALIA DRESS
Happy Monday my darlings!
It is time for you to discover Malia! This soft dress is now available and ready to get your shoulders warm for winter. I read all your comments on my Friday's post and I am sure you will love her! You will be able to find the dress in 2 ready-to-wear versions (black/cream and grey/stars) on WearLemonade.com for €99 in a very limited edition for Christmas! Moreover, you can buy the sewing pattern to realize your own dresses. All the other patterns are also available in the "patterns"section of the eshop!
(hello new packagings...)
For the Malia dress, you will see that we added a lining! Since the Lolita dress and the Rosa teddynothing can stop us! The lining gives a better aspect to the dress and it looks more qualitative. I love heavy and light clothes! I have to write you a post about it because it is a kind of obsession, especially since we started to create our own line! Malia is not hard to do; you just need to take your time and a deep breath, especially for the sleeves part... I often loose control when the machine is not working as I would! Indeed, you need to ease (a bit) the sleeves. The dress will fit better and the shoulders will look better! It is not that simple but it is necessary! Do not forget... "No pain, no gain..." Check this out!
It was not that bad, was it? All you need to know about the pattern:
- You can buy the sewing pattern in a nice packaging with an instruction booklet and a Wear Lemonade tag here for €14.90.
- You can also buy the PDF version for €2.99 and the instruction booklet is now included in the file. You can print it in A4 or US letter.
- The degree of difficulty is: "A piece of cake" but it depends on your motivation and patience because the sleeves part can be a bit complicated. Take your time and use lots of pins.
- To sew the dress you need 2m of fabric (1.50 of width = classic fabric roll). We advise you to use a stretch fabric like velvet or cotton gabardine, flannel... You will also need 1.50m for the lining and we advise you to take printed cotton poplin (so that you can recognize both sides easily) for the beginners.
- As a reminder, the seam allowance is included in all the Wear Lemonade patterns (= 1cm)!
- If you have any doubts, do not hesitate to send a message to the queen of patterns Laure at [email protected]
Do not forget to share your creations and orders with the #wearlemonade and tag us because we now have a real dedicated Instagram account!

TOFINO CANADA TRIP PART III
Happy Sunday my little kitties,
Today it is time for me to share with you the last part of my Canadian holidays! I didn't have time to post it before with the wedding, the honeymoon, Wear Lemonade, the new office...we were very busy! These 10 days in Canada have been a real magic moment. As I told you in my previous postsI had no idea what to expect before going here and I have to admit that it was fabulous.
Until now, I only liked post cards landscapes and long sandy beaches... because these sandy beaches are often associated to places less attractive, polluted also and affected by the tourism business. Obviously, I live wonderful landscapes but I think in Canada, what I like the most was everything beautiful and authentic...I was even moved by the road! While arriving at Tofino, the last step of our trip, we rented a car at the Ucluelet airport...
Well, Elodie was driving because I still do not have my driving licence... This trip really motivated me to have it! I just need to find some time for this stupid diploma! Moreover, we noticed that the Canadian who are used to live in big spaces have a different notion of distance. Indeed, when they tell you that you are close to the place you would like to go, you actually need to drive for hours to go there!
Tofino looks like a very cool small surfer town. It reminds me of Laucanau-Ocean but fresher and greener. The ambiance of the city is very casual. It is a nice place to live and everyone seems to know each other. It is a tiny city where there are only dozens of streets.
In one of my previous posts, "Mapstr: the app of the month", I talked to you about my good Canadian addresses. For those who have no time to download the app, I give you 4 nice restaurants addresses we went to!
- Wolf in the Fog, 150 4 Street Tofino
- Kuma, 101 4 Street, Tofino (our favorite)
- Sobo, 311 Neill Street, Tofino
- Commom Loaf Bake Shop, 180 1 Street, Tofino (awesome snack and bakery).
I already told you this for Victoria but in every city we went to, I have been very surprised to see all these flowers and colors in each garden, every window or public places!
I am now going to talk to you about my favorite moment of the trip: the excursion with the "Jamie's Whaling Station" organism. All you need to know is that in August in Vancouver and the surrounding areas, it is hot but acceptable. You always need to have a scarf and a pullover in your backpack, just in case... While arriving in Tofino, the weather changed a lot so we were happy to have them...
At dawn, when we arrived at Jamie's, we knew that we were going to take a boat to go to the hot water springs of the Maquinna Provincial park. The tour lasted around 6-7 hours and we were on a huge zodiac boat: the adventure! We had to wear a sort of very comfy ski suit, beanies, gloves and a raincoat. So glam the fashion bloggers! We were ready for a 2h30 walk in the early morning mist and we saw the sun rise on the wonderful green nature.
We met bears (a mother and her child), otters, white whales... it was crazy! I was 6 and a half showing everything with my finger... This adventure was really magic! Unfortunately, I couldn't take good pictures of the animals but I prefer to keep these moments in memory. We didn't even breathe on the boat because we didn't want to scare them! I really recommend you this tour!
Then, we arrived on a little pontoon in the middle of nowhere to go for a hike in a sublime forest looking for hot water springs! The captain left us there and went back to Tofino so we had 2hours ahead to explore.
We walked into this green millennium forest even if we weren't really in an orienteering, compass and cereal bars mood... In this forest, the path was a kind of long wooden terrace and it was very nice because a lot of visitors have written messages on most of the boards. I was really impressed by some of them (more pictures in my Facebook album). I am still wondering how is it possible... let me know is you have the answer!
While arriving at the top of this path, we discovered the hot water springs! And I said: "s*** I did not bring my bathing suit"! The sun was shining and there was no wind...so we decided to go with our underwear. The other explorers were a bit surprised because they were also more organized than us! For this reason, I advise you to take you most beautiful underwear or a swimming suit and a towel!
I almost forgot! All our way to the hot water springs we walked with wild dogs. Elodie took amazing pictures of them! I have never seen so many different animals in such a short period of time! If I could have done this trip as a child, I would never want to go back home!
Another thing you can do in Tofino is surfing! It is a famous spot but it is also complicated to surf. I heard that there are different cold-water currents. Yes! When you surf in Tofino, you cannot wear a bikini with the wind in your hair. The idea is more about one-piece suit, balaclava, slippers and gloves. These are warrior sessions!
There are a lot of surfing schools around Tofino and Ucluelet. I recommend you Wya Point surf shop where you can even find a small food truck in the garden; after effort, comes comfort!
The surfing session has been one of our last activities in Tofino. Then, we went back to the airport and on our way we decided to go for one of the many possible hikes in the Pacific Rim National Park. Not related to the science fiction movie, I made some researches!
Indeed, the road between Ucluelet and Tofino crosses the giant Pacific Rim nature reserve. This humid forest is wonderful! It is possible to camp there if you want and you can do a lot of sports activities but for those who are not prepared enough, you also have access to different hikes. The path is made of wood, as for the one to go to the hot water springs. It is very simple and everybody can do it.
We ended our trip on this chlorophyll and green note. On our way to the tiny airport, we met a little doe, very quiet, not stressed at all even if we were so closed to it. It was hard to leave this country.
This trip has been crazy and unexpected for me. I will go back there! I am now very addicted to nature, quiet places, and landscapes... a real change! This trip was also a nice adventure because we used small planes and seaplanes and I now feel more comfortable with that. When I look at all the picture I really want MORE!
You can see all the pictures in the Facebook album.

SAVE THE DATE: MALIA!
My little kitties,
I hope you are doing well and that you have a huge list of things to do, see and celebrate for this weekend! I know, the universe is not really helping us with this bad weather but we keep smiling and try to do our best! I think my current leitmotiv is the word "beautiful"...always looking for nice things especially during dark moments... I never hesitate to start new beautiful projects as I talked to you about last week. Today, I am going to introduce to you the next little Wear Lemonade dress: Malia.
Malia, more than being the name of my niece and President Obama's daughter, is also your next winter friend. Yes! Let me introduce to you the sweet Malia! It is a velvet trapeze dress with a cream cotton flounce. I like this dress because it is so soft and has a lining so it is perfect for cold days. Its cut fits all the silhouettes, the shoulders are adjusted in order to have the perfect boat neckline that we love so much at the Lemonade Studio. There is a V-neck in the back to make it sexier. I can also tell you that the cream cotton flounce gives the dress a Pierrot look and I like it! Obviously, Malia has pockets because it is a good girl dress! The more I talk to you about it, the more I have the feeling it is going to be my winter bestfriend.
On Monday (the 23rd of November) at 10am, Malia is going to be available online and you will have the possibility to adopt the dress in a black or in a grey/stars version. The pattern will also be available the same day! Here I am wearing a size M and it is my usual size with fishnet stockings and Jonak flats! I send you big kisses and see you tomorrow!
Thank you Olitax for the pictures!
