SILENT RHINESTONE DIY
But what DIY is behind this mysterious title? Well, it's an easy, super-graphic do-it-yourself with plastic rhinestones that I've domed to give them a more chic, less cheap finish than you'd get with classic sew-on glitter rhinestones. I like the idea of making opaque rhinestones that are essentially supposed to be shiny, don't you? Anyway, I'm a bit fixated on pink, black and white, but I'm taking care of myself... And then I see you coming, "where did you get those huge rhinestones?" I took apart a necklace I bought at a garage sale, but if you ever find the supplier of big rhinestones to sew like these, I'm interested! Besides, I'm not sure you're all fans of huge things like me, so obviously for you it'll be easier to find some. And it's got to be great too, with little stones to sew on or set, domed or varnished... I'll leave you to your brushes, bombs and other (nail?) varnishes...
To make this "silent rhinestone" DIY, you'll need..:
- A gray sweater, in this case a monshowroom with a little lurex in it...
- A pencil and a brush,
- Sew-on rhinestones (preferably in different shapes and sizes),
- Color bombs (at least 3 different ones),
- Textile paint,
- and needle and thread.
You'll see that rhinestones, sequins etc... are my thing at the moment, and in fact it looks like the next theme week... I won't tell you more, but one thing's for sure, I've had a lot of fun preparing all this for you! Mucho love! See you tomorrow
