And here it is, the last and fourth post on fashion week... I hope I haven't lost the least fashionistas of the group along the way... (my god, what an ugly word "fashionista" is...) Lexical field of fashion hell aside, I've got to tell you about the excess, the real hysteria, the people, the genius too perhaps.

It all started when I received a call from Chanel (just like every other day, nothing alarming so far...), the lovely press attaché tells me about various projects, and concludes the conversation by asking me for my address so she can send me "my invitation card which is in the process of being calligraphed for the March 4 show", the speaker on my phone was so loud that Charlotte S., who works with me from now on, blushes, I'm in apnea. Very normally, I note down my address in a very detached, almost blasé tone (that's what I think I'm playing, but the witnesses testify that definitely not, I sounded crazy). I hang up, laughing my head off, I could roll on the floor, I think I did, too happy, I tell myself I've got to call my whole family as if I'd just graduated. I calm down, listen to Larusso and dance the choreography of joy. I'll be fine.

Fashion week: ok I can handle it, the Grand Palais: ok I can handle it, but it's really big all the same, Chanel: I can handle it too, I used to work in jewelry, it's fine. But Fashion week + Grand Palais + Chanel + me (look for the mistake) = LARUSSO.

I can't explain it, I think it's the fact that I, Lisa Gachet, little Swiss Army knife and (incidentally) girl with a website, can have access to a show as huge as Chanel's. Thank you Make My Lemonade, thank you because in two years, it's amazing how many extraordinary things this site has enabled me to do. Okay, it's just fashion week, but it's not just that, it's colossal jobs, little hands working like crazy right up to the last minute. And when I see the Chanel show, the work of the set designers, it confirms to me that this is really what I want to do.

As for the show, no, but it was crazy, it's certain that Karl goes shopping at Monop'. In the Chanel supermarket, all the packaging is branded with puns on Gabrielle Chanel, Mademoiselle Coco, tweed, and the whole lexical field of the brand's universe... I wonder if they called in the advertising agency Havas City, which had already signed the new Monoprix packaging, or if it was done in-house, in any case it was mind-blowing... Everything, from the Chanel sausage to the "biscocottes", or in the DIY section, the chainsaw whose chain had been replaced by the chain of the emblematic handbag... Brilliant! Even fruit and vegetable labels... People were going crazy. Chanel wins the battle of the social networks, the show took a long time to start because people had to be channeled, everyone had to go and sit down, but nobody was obviously in a hurry, too excited to take pictures of everything so as not to lose a crumb and post it all on instagram...

The show is really crazy, so much in the second degree, unlike Jeremy Scott at Moschino where he really went too far (for my taste in the anecdotal side), Lagerfeld has fun with touches, the bags in metal grocery baskets, trimmed in tweed, the quilted caddy, the vacuum-packed bags.... At Chanel, everything was fake, the packaging was empty, and the fresh produce was donated to charities. On the other hand, I'd have thought it was a bit far-fetched to have the models walk the catwalk in a real supermarket, at a time when some people are having trouble filling their fridges.

And the cherry on the milkshake was that I was so well placed, almost behind Keira Knightley, who herself was next to our national Gaspard Ulliel, and if I felt like it, I could have made guili in Vanessa Paradis's neck....

It's hard to beat Chanel, but even so, JDCD came out on top...

And it was my first JCDC show... For me, the collections were always too "gimmicky", too "happening", with emblematic collaborations like Disney, Bambi or Muppet shows, but not always wearable in real life. And for the past few seasons, I've been keeping a closer eye on what's going on at JCDC. This collection is called "sport soir", and like the audience I suppose, I was expecting something "sport wear", but not at all, I'd say it's chic, sharp and downright urban. Color again and again! I'm thrilled! Impeccable lines, sublime knits embroidered with fur, drawing illustrations by Mr. Castelbajac. I found it masterful, beautiful and fresh, like a breath of change while retaining the very essence of the JCDC identity: humor, line and playfulness.

On the Backstage side, shu uemura worked wonders again, and it's really my favorite make-up of the week, although Thomsen was crazy too. It may seem light-hearted, but to see so much color, both in looks and in beauty, I find refreshing, and it's good for my morale, I tell myself that next winter will pass more quickly, and will definitely be more fun.

And I posted a photo yesterday on Instagram with my fashion week essentials. Sony was kind enough to let me try out their latest toy: the Xperia Z1 CompactSome of you asked me what I thought of it... Well, I'll let you judge for yourself the quality of the images below in dark interiors... I'm totally convinced, although I find the navigation and control of the device a little complex from the outset, but I'm not giving up. So what were your favorite shows? As usual, you can see all my photos on Pinterest.
