Happy Friday my little chickens!
Woauh Woauh Wouah ! So many of you came to our party last night! open house ! Thank you for this torrent of love, you are so inspiring! You've given me boxes of ideas and cramps of smiles, thank you for that! The girls and I were delighted to meet you, listen to your questions and try to answer them as best we could! I think we'll try to make it a real rendez-vous starting in January 2016 and then every month! What's more, I'm in the middle of thinking about the changes we could make to the lemon.makemylemonade.com blog, and I'm seriously considering an online diary where you could find our open-house evenings, our workshops and clothing and pattern launches. Wear Lemonade !
Anyway, there's a lot of brainstorming going on up there, and I've also been thinking about creating a sewing discussion page... And as of yesterday, I'm sure you'll like it! I'm thinking of a "forum" system where you can ask sewing questions and where we and the whole Wear Lemonade community can respond to your sewing emergencies! I'm putting quotation marks on the word forum, because just writing the word forum makes every hair on my body stand on end, and I'm shaking my head to get the image of Doctissimo out of my brain... You get the idea, it's all about creating a glamorous, lemony forum! So, 2016 is shaping up to be a rich one!
But 2016 is still a long way off for us! Before talking about next year, I can tell you that we're in the midst of Christmas preparations and it's going to be busy around here! We're concocting dozens of DIYs for you to make your Christmas gifts! But above all, I'm delighted to tell you that the excitement here is at its peak, because in addition to preparing do-it-yourself items, we're also putting the finishing touches to a very limited edition mini stationery collection comprising a diary, a notepad and pretty cards for the end of the year, and lots of other surprises !!!! That's it, I think I'll shut up so as not to reveal any more!
To avoid spoilers, I'm going to tell you about Julie, about Rosa and Karuna and Karuna too... Last weekend, I joined the gentle Buttes Chaumont Julie Perrot to test her new camera, and the weather was so mild I couldn't believe it was November.
