Hello guys!
Some days are harder than others at Lemonade Studio, and clearly touring the ice cream shops of Paris with Charlotte was a hard day. And yes, I took the opportunity to hunt a few Pokémon along the way. So we plucked up our courage and went to try out a few ice creams, after a pre-selection on the internet after all. And good news for you: we're giving away some ice creams, see below for explanations. First stop at Amorino, pictured above, with their famous flower-shaped ice creams. We chose the Lemon-Ginger flavor, because ginger was special...
La Crème de Paris at 4 Rue du Faubourg Montmartre, 75009 Paris - Their store is very pretty and the details are meticulous, and in addition to the ice creams we saw some big, well-stocked crêpes. Raspberry flavor. But we had to save room in our tummies for the other ice creams, so we'll make a note of it next time.
À la mère de famille - 35, Rue du Faubourg Montmartre 75009 Paris - "The oldest chocolate factory in Paris. Since 1761" as they say on their website, the interior is very beautiful, you'd think you were at Honeydukes. We tried the mango flavor, which was a real knockout.
Melba Glacier, at 31 Boulevard Bonne Nouvelle Paris, the pretty typography used for their frontage will inevitably remind you of something! Blood orange flavor. The welcome is great, the place is colorful and the ice creams are good. What more could you ask for?
Chocolate taste of course, we couldn't miss it, it's at Pozzetto, 39 Rue du Roi de Sicile, 75004 Paris.
Yogurt Factory! The concept is well known: yogurt, fruit and topping, refreshing and gourmet as they say on Top Chef.
Ice Roll, 7 Rue de Turenne, 75004 Paris. It's quite hypnotizing to watch them roll ice cream right before your eyes, as they scrape the plate with their little spatulas. The result is gorgeous and, of course, delicious.
This list is obviously not exhaustive, there must be other great ice cream parlors in Paris, so don't hesitate to share your good addresses in the comments!
And now it's your turn to win: leave us a comment on the blog and we'll draw lots to win ice creams from Ice Roll and Melba!
Matcha taste! At Une Glace à Paris, 15 Rue Sainte-Croix de la Bretonnerie, 75004 Paris.
A classic, stracciatella flavour, at Pastelli Mary Gelateria at 60 Rue du Temple, 75003 Paris, France
The super cookie ice creams at Jean Hwang Carrant! Simply delicious, to die for. You can try his creations all August at the L'Exception store at Les Halles!
And last but not least, we couldn't miss Mister Freeze! I'm not going to give you the exact address where you can find it, of course... It's not an ice cream, but we wanted to give it a regressive nod for this minute of freshness. Personally, I'd rather open it with my teeth, as scissors are always too far away. How about you? Olitax
