Happy Friday #63
Happy Friday, kittens!
I hope you're well, ready with all your presents wrapped and ready to spend the weekend under the comforter, or that you're psychologically prepared to go shopping on a Saturday afternoon before Christmas. As far as I'm concerned, it's comforter time this weekend! Because, as I mentioned in my article on the Pierrot's tableI found quite a few of my gifts at La Boutique Noire du Printempswhich has been a goldmine for gifts for the men in my life... Don't you think it's a pain in the ass to find gifts for dads, brothers and uncles? If you've found the Idea with a capital "i", share it with us! By the way, it's an idea for next year, DIY for men... Something to think about.
I'm going to wish you all a wonderful vacation, and on the agenda: lots of love and memories. For my part, I'm ending the year rinsed and happy. 2014 has been crazy and there are still 10 days to go, you might say, but hey, I think we've done most of it! I'll be here to dispense your doses of lemonade, no worries!
I don't know about you, but I can't wait for the year to end and the weather to change. I can't stand the incessant rain, I want to see Paris in the sunshine and ride my bike again! So I'm cheating on the dreary weather with a lot of candy pink and yellow. I love twisting a classic silhouette with big, colorful pieces: since last year, I've been dreaming of a pink coat, but I rarely found the right fit, and the ones I did like were always too expensive, so I think I've found the perfect in-between: my little Tara Jarmon coat.
This shoot took place on the terrace of the Déli-cieux restaurant, located on the top floor of Printemps Haussmann, which offers a breathtaking view of Paris, and it's rarely crowded, like some kind of little secret place! So if you haven't finished your Christmas presents yet, it's the perfect place to take a little chocolate break! As I said last time, if you still haven't seen the windows If you haven't yet seen Burberry's Christmas window displays, be sure to do so: the automatons are a dream come true for young and old alike! The windows are designed in the spirit of a magical journey between London and Paris. I'm very picky when it comes to window displays, but I have to say, they're a knockout!
Today I'm wearing a coat and pants from last season's Tara Jarmon, an almost vintage H&M x Comme des Garçons shirt, but you can also go for this onea hat Asos, shoes Georgia Roseand socks Chased steps and a bag Bea Buehleryellow and round as a lemon. Thanks to the sweet Pauline Darley for these photos!
