The little Chanel jacket... #1
My little cats,
Happy Monday! Don't worry, there wasn't a space-time rift between Saturday and today. I'd predicted a beauty surprise, but I'm not really satisfied with the result, so rather than mess around, I prefer to make beautiful images again, because I really want to do this article justice... Please bear with me a little longer, but I'll explain why... I woke up full of good will with dozens of images to do yesterday morning, and then, before I knew it, it was already noon... And then, Sunday at noon, everything came to a halt, a bit like the Marseillaise before an international match, at home, in my urban family (urban family for me means all the people I love but who aren't my family, but even more than my friends, you know?) In short, Sunday lunchtime is the time to get together and brunch (you'll notice there's even a verb), while others go to mass, we're going to nuke our bellies... (preferably right after the gym, so as to start again with the counters at zero)... And missing brunch is a bit like forgetting a birthday, it really sucks... So yesterday at noon, I dropped my scissors, my UHU and the pedal of my sewing machine, to go and meet my family... And I got home from there at 4pm (a real family meal). And just imagine, at 4pm it's dark in my living room... So it was very difficult for me to take the photos for this "beauty surprise". I told myself that you wouldn't hold it against me, it's not cancelled but postponed... No big deal! A little week of looks begins here... With the order of the week the little black Chanel tweed jacket that we should all have in our closets! Well, "Chanel-inspired", you know what I mean: a little tweed jacket with no collar, 3/4 sleeves and all that... And then Chanel to make you dream, and it's all the rage with the exhibition at the Grand Palais of "La petite veste noire" photographs by Karl Lagerfeld, with the complicity of Carine Roitfeld, which ended yesterday, but you can find the book, which is really hot, and in fact makes a lovely Christmas gift to give.... (at least I'd love to! no subliminal message in this parenthesis...) In short, a week's worth of Gifs looks and a little bonus DIY... see you soon!
For this first look, I'm wearing a real Chanel jacket (THANK YOU Marie from Shifumi for the loan!), but you can find a very convincing ersatz at Mangotake a look. A simple little black dress from Brooklyn Awoke Vintagemy Urban Oufitters Kimono vest, my love boots Office Londona New York hat too Pork Pie and a Trumpet By Meister satchel, donated by the talented Vanessa. By the way, I'll have to tell the brilliant story of this satchel very soon... LOVE U.
