DIY Another discret necklace
Happy Wednesday my little cats!
Thank you for your enthusiastic feedback about the horoscopes! And then I loved your "outraged" reactions to seeing a horoscope here, I also love to see the climbing spirit of some, a horoscope today... and tomorrow how to customize a vacuum cleaner ... It's so little to know me. So yes, I'm one of those people who reads horoscopes at the end of magazines and even believes them when they predict something good, I believe them for 26 seconds and then my brain fades to another page. Let's keep it light here, please. I've been wanting to set one up for so long, so of course I'm thrilled that things are finally seeing the light of day! Anyway, thank you for your words and I'll leave you with the DIY space necklace... Yet another discreet necklace!
See you soon, kittens!

- Time : 2 hours
- Cost: less than €30
- Difficulty: easy, although you'll need a little dexterity
For this DIY you'll need :
- - copper paper (found at Weber matériaux, 9 rue de Poitou, 75003),
- - download the pattern for the metal parts here,
- - beads to crush,
- - silver cable wire,
- - silver clasp,
- - pearly beads in various sizes,
- - cutting pliers and flat-nose pliers,
- - nail-like pins,
- - rhinestone chain (20 cm),
- - needle,
- - small joining rings,
- - metal flower (optional)
- - metal feathers or other charms for hanging.
Make yourself comfortable and everything will go smoothly, I promise!
Start by downloading the pattern for the small metal paper parts, trace on the copper paper and cut out.
Then fold lengthwise to obtain the final result, repeating the operation until you have 15.
Take 25cm of cable wire, thread a squeeze bead and make a loop by tucking the end of the cable into the squeeze bead.
Use flat-nose pliers to crush the bead and close the loop. Now thread a bead, followed by a metal part.
Continue, alternating pearly beads and metal foil.
Once the entire cable is covered (approx. 20 cm), close the end with another crush pearl, making a loop as before. Now take a stem and thread a pearl.
Cut the protruding piece of rod 1.5cm above the bead and roll it over itself to form a ring using the round pliers. Take a ring, open it and hang the pearl on the rhinestone chain.
Hang the pearl on the rhinestone chain, and repeat the operation with different sizes of pearls, forming a sort of cluster.
You now have the first two sections of your necklace, let's continue with the third! For the third section, use your metal feathers and rings to attach these small elements to the second rhinestone chain.
Repeat the operation on the whole chain, at regular intervals. You're almost done!
Hook your sections together using the joining rings and finish with a clasp!
And TA-DA! And because I like discretion, I added a big copper metal flower I found at the market last year, as a Christmas decoration.
Forgive me for this space haircut, it makes me laugh a lot it seems!
