HOW TO SEW THE FALBALA BLOUSE
Hello kittens!
Thank you for all your suggestions yesterday about the next collections, it's really great for us to be able to feed off your ideas, and I'm quite happy to see that we have the same ones and that some will have lovely surprises! We've got a lot of great things in store for you for the next collections, including some crazy shoots! I've already told you, but a few days ago we shot the next collection, which will arrive at the beginning of July. I can't wait to tell you all about it, to show you the little touches we've thought up for the orders! I think I'll even do an article on the parcel experience, which is driving me crazy! Even a year later, it's still awe-inspiring to imagine a story, to design these garments and to see the collections take shape week by week, and I'm not even talking about the pride of running into you in the street wearing Wear Lemonade, it's just happiness, I take a photo discreetly, I'm not crazy you know! Falbala is the final piece in this "Les Baigneuses" collection, and I'm delighted to be able to share the DIY with you today!
Falbala's level is "fingers in the nose", although I'd still advise you to have your hands free to sew it (hehe...). It's the perfect model to start sewing, and it'll be perfect for all your summer outfits. I can't wait to see what you come up with, as I'm dreaming of Falbala in crazy embroidery anglaise patterns! I'd like to remind you that you can find examples of our designs on our page community and get inspired! In fact, the other day we were wondering what you'd like to see on the Instagram account of Wear LemonadeThere are already a lot of you there, and I have the impression that you really like our "behind-the-scenes" and "making-of" posts, but if you've got something else you'd like to see, we'd love to hear from you!
Here's what you need to know Falbala :
- to make it, you'll need 1.40m of fabric if you have a 1m45 width, or 2.20m of fabric for a 1m10 width,
- 1m of bias for the neckline if you don't want to bother making it in your own fabric,
- and the valid paper pattern here or in pdf via the 3, 6 or 12-month subscription, here. (We're working every day to iron out the little bugs in the formula, but I assure you we're making good progress! Subscribers will receive their first gifts during the summer).
I hope you like this model, and I'd also like to thank you for the warm welcome you gave to the three versions of FalbalaWe're already out of stock on several sizes! I wish you a wonderful week, and hope that summer will finally arrive! Big hugs and kisses!
From Lemonade Studio with love!
