HAPPY ICED SUNDAY
Happy Sunday the company!
A week has gone by under the sign of summer and ice cream... I really hope you've enjoyed it! For us, it's always a pleasure to imagine content around a given theme, aaaah, the famous constraints that make us creative... Is there a theme you'd like to see exploited around here? I'd really like to do a special "Think Pink" week, not the singer of course... but the color! A tropical week could be cool when winter's in full swing and we're in need of some green, or just a Tropical Christmas? I'd love to do a polka dots week again, a bit more elaborate than the first one I did here 3 years ago... And even a striped week! I can already tell you that I'm preparing one for the end of September that should please you! But I'd love to hear what you think, because I'm sure that between us, we can come up with some crazy ideas!
And I'm already talking about what's next without telling you about today's post! It's just like me to want to move faster than the music... So today, I'm rounding off this themed week with a shoot that's a little bit special, because it looks like I'm balancing on plasticine ice cream scoops... I'll let you digest the info...
To take it from the beginning, I wasn't going to dress only in ice cream patterns, which were a bit corny, but I figured that the very essence of ice cream was the softness of its pastel colors. I was lucky that Asos followed me in my sweet delirium and lent us all the pieces that were shot here. Once the shopping's done, it's Pauline Darley who took care of photographing me against a white background in her incredibly bright new photo studio! The idea behind the looks was to mix and match pieces as I so often do: an ultra-summery combishort with a polka-dot suit jacket. Or a maxi pencil skirt with a college tee and denim jacket... I like to play down or "up-grader" certain pieces to build my looks.
Writing all this to you and seeing these ice creams, obviously fake, makes me hungry. I'm going to grab a bite to eat and try out one of Simoné's ice cream addresses! Hugs and kisses to you all! Thanks to Pauline Darley and Alexandra Bruel for their talents and to Asos for always being there!
