HAPPY FRIDAY #93
Happy Friday lemons!
I hope this week has gone smoothly and that you are preparing for your vacations as you should! Travel light and leave out the "just in case" items in your suitcases, as you and I both know that you'll always be wearing the same things... As for me, I'm just back from a week's vacation at my parents'. It was nice and quiet under the pine trees in the South-West, while the heatwave hit Paris. My only worry, though, was to find Frida as dry as a mummy, even if she did have one hell of a cat-sitter (I can assure you that everything went well, she's doing great)! Short vacation, but I'll be back for another week in August and another in September, with destinations that are a little more exotic!
At the beginning of July, Simoné and I went to Hotel Panache to achieve this little look with the Dita Wear Lemonade dress that I'm definitely not letting go of. I've fallen in love with this little hotel, and I'm preparing a hot spot for you (it's been a long time!) on this place. I think there's a real revival going on in Parisian hotels, between the Panache, the Hôtel du Temps, the Bachaumont, the Pigalle, the Hôtel Henriette, the Providence and so on, all of which are perfect sources of inspiration. The decor is ever more beautiful and the graphic identities sublime! I can't wait to show you a little more of the Hotel Panache! Like a breath of fresh air, out of time and away from the daily grind. I love having breakfast in hotels without having slept there, among tourists who don't speak the same language as me. It's one of my little pleasures to recharge my batteries.
And then the ultimate combo is to go and have breakfast in a hotel in the middle of July... I love summer in Paris, I love the gentle pace of life, getting up early and doing a thousand things... Yes, a thousand things, because I don't have my phone throwing epileptic fits every 2 minutes and my mailbox is no longer overflowing. Everyone's a bit cooler and takes a step back. The little worries of everyday life, which would normally have caused us stress, just slip away, and we tell ourselves that we'll find a solution tomorrow morning, that 12 extra hours to solve the problem won't change the face of the world. We should keep this mindset more often: "Less monday, More summer".
As you can see, I'm very happy with summer in Paris, and as I write these lines, the clouds have lifted and a great ray of sunshine has just entered the lemonade studio - le kiffe! Today I'm wearing a jacket Selected with polka dotsand the famous Wear Lemonade that can be worn on either side, my big hat Goorin Bros hat (I know it's really time for a haircut) and a pair of sandals Made by Sarenza with Spritz-colored nail polish! Kisses and see you soon for an article that should make you travel!
