FOR LOVE
What a mysterious title!
I'm going to tell you the whole story, a bit like the complementary particles I was telling you about here. "Pour l'Amour" is a sort of pretext for exercising ten fingers with my sweet Alexandra B. So why "Pour l'Amour"? Well, because in our lives as young entrepreneurs (female entrepreneurs, by the way?), there are 3 main types of jobs (the list is not exhaustive, but 3 main categories emerge): the not-glamorous food jobs, but necessary to pay the rent and fill the fridge. The unpaid but so cool assignments, often for hot magazines with great teams, I like to call it a job "for love"... And then these assignments are really good to be able to get the third type of job: the assignments that are really cool and that are super well paid... Anyway, between these three assignments there are lots of others, otherwise it's not funny but I should make you a dictionary...
So it was with this expression "Pour l'Amour" (for love), which we often use, that Alexandra and I decided to join forces. We like to pool our skills, our desires and our equipment... So while we're waiting to work every day with our passion, on solid gold assignments, we're creating opportunities for ourselves to practice and make images that are close to our hearts.
Today, we made a real sponge cake covered in sugar paste and modelling clay with gothic lettering, because we're real set design gangsters... Soon we'll be telling you all about our "Full Moon" wallpaper... We can't stand it any longer!
I'll leave you with a few making-of photos of our "Badass cake". Speaking of Making of, it's been a while since our national Charlotte prepared a daily lemonade with the studio's behind-the-scenes... More to come tomorrow, my little cats, for a little surprise!
