How to sew a Neel combishort?
Perfect for sewing beginners, this Neel combishort is an ideal blend of comfort and practicality. Choose a seasonal fabric, a nice cold wool suit, a soft cotton gabardine, a polyester or viscose double crepe... We recommend a fabric that's supple but not too thin. If in doubt, use a little knitted fusible webbing for the pockets.
Allow half a day from fabric cutting to finishing, and here's a little shopping list:
-1.95m fabric in 1.40m width, or 1.95m fabric in 1.10m width
-50cm satin lining in 1.40cm width,
-60cm invisible zip,
-50cm fusible webbing, if required,
-3m bias.
If you wish to make your bias in the same fabric, allow an extra 50cm in fabric consumption. In your subscription areayou'll find a "Tips : How to sew a bias" category. for a more detailed step-by-step guide.
The poll results are in: you've voted for the Odette skirt! We've filmed the tutorial and the pattern will be available in November.
See you soon!
