BIRTHDAY GIRL

Hello my little cats!
I'm writing you this quick note because I wanted to share some news with you... I'm 27 today and I think that makes me feel a bit... Nothing serious, because the more the years go by, the more I realize that life will be sweet, crazy and delicious. But for as long as I can remember, I've been projecting myself as a child to: "When I'm 24". So I saw myself at 24 with breasts, married, with children and always traveling because of my job as an archaeologist...
Well, I'm not 24 at all, and none of that has happened yet (or almost, no, I'm not pregnant, I'm talking about marriage, we'll have to talk about that soon! ). But today I'm writing to you because I realize that it was on my 24th birthday that I decided to open Make My Lemonade, and I'll say it again, it's really changed my life... I tell myself that since I've been 24, I've met hundreds of really great people and that even if every day isn't rosy, it's often a celebration!
Certainly, when I was a child, I could never have imagined that I would one day be 27 (so old), have a website ("inter...what"? ), a Danish husband-to-be ( a Dane, but how did I manage to communicate with him!? ), be my own boss ( how did I manage to get there!?), have a team of mabbies ("I don't know how I got there!?"), and have my own business. ), to have a team of maboulle working with me ( oh yes anyway ), a clothing brand ( and what about the dinosaurs in all this? ), and that on a daily basis, I would receive semi-trailers of love and encouragement from a community of anonymous kittens... The last point, I definitely wouldn't have understood as a child...
Anyway, I just wanted to say hello because I'm going to make today a marathon of little joys, with only things that make me happy! I'm going to try to see and/or hear all the people I love, and I thought it would be nice to start the day with you!
Hugs and kisses, I'm off to be cocooned, go to the gym, buy fabric, love, taste, cry and be surprised!
Lisa
