I'm happy, stressed out but terribly happy! My fingertips are touching my dreams... I'm smiling so hard, it's really happening, something big is going on around here, the biggest thing that's ever happened to Make My Lemonade! Anyway, cross your fingers, throw some salt over your shoulders and burn a candle for us, it's coming very soon, you can be sure of that! The fact remains that this project is taking up a lot of our time, and we can't wait to present it to you. As for me, I can't wait for it to be released, for everything to get back on track, so that I can get back to my almost normal lemony activities! If our life at the lemonade studio was ever really normal...
So today we bring you the boss of the Frida dress ! Does this dress look familiar? Well, yes, Frida was inspired by one of the first fashion DIYs I made for Make My Lemonade. Revisited in two versions, graded from 36 to 46, and belted, I hope you'll like it as much as we do. We're already planning to make it again in every color! This pattern The only difficulty is the belt, but here again, you can add one you already have, make a giant satin bow, or emphasize your waist with a grosgrain. Its high waist gives the illusion that you have miles of legs... It has a very '50s look, with an XL amplitude. You'll need 3 meters of fabric to make this Frida. If you make it in a soft, lightweight fabric, it'll look great with a babydoll or bottom dress underneath, and without a belt, it could be your best friend for the beach this summer. We've also prepared two variations, one with a Tunisian collar and one with a boat neck, and you can choose from classic pockets or heart pockets to dress up the front of your dresses.
