Happy Monday, my little darlings!

Wind up your watches and get on Malia time! She's here, ready and waiting, sweet and mischievous, with her feet in the starting-blocks to warm your shoulders this winter. And I think, from reading the comments on my article that you're all going to get along just fine! I remind you that it's on sale ready to wear on WearLemonade.com for €99, in a very limited Christmas edition in black and ecruand grey with stars stars! Of course, you can also make Malia yourself in all the colors of your wildest fantasies, using the sewing patterns available on the e-shop in the "Patterns"section, of course!

( cuckoo for new packaging...)

So you'll see, for this Malia dress, we've also added a lining! Yes, since the Lolita dress and the Rosa teddyI know you'll stop at nothing! And you'll see, the lining gives the garment a much more "quali" look and a heavier "hand" that I love. I love heavy or ultra-light garments, and I'd have to write an article on the subject because it's bordering on obsession, especially since we produce our own clothes! Malia isn't difficult to make, you just have to take your time and not curse your sewing machine at the armhole... Why do I say this, because I easily lose my temper when the mechanics don't work as I'd like! And indeed, there is some embu on the armholes, not a lot but a little. Because mist is good! I judged it too quickly, it allows the garment to adapt better to the body, to draw a well rounded and bouncy shoulder, it's annoying (yes I haven't found better) but it's necessary, long live embu! And don't forget "No pain, no gain..." I'll leave you with the video, we'll catch up later.

Well, that wasn't the last straw, was it? Here are a few things to know about this pattern:

  • You can buy the sewing pattern in its beautiful packaging, complete with explanatory booklet and label. herefor 14.90 euros.
  • You can download the Pdf pattern for 2.99 euros, now with an integrated sewing booklet! Feel free to look here for the location of the sheets. The pattern is still printable on A4 and US letter.
  • The pattern's degree of difficulty is: "It's a piece of cake", but it all depends on your motivation and patience, as it's the sleeve assembly that can be a bit tedious; take your time and put in lots of pins.
  • For this dress, you'll need to allow for 2m of fabric consumption in a 1m50-width fabric (the classic width of a roll of fabric). We recommend a slightly stretchy fabric, such as velvet or gabardine. cotton gabardineflannel, brocade...? For the 1.50m lining, we recommend a printed cotton poplin (so you can tell right from wrong) for beginners.
  • Just a reminder, because it's always a good idea to note it here: in all patterns Wear Lemonadepatterns, the seam allowance is included in the pattern and is one centimetre!
  • And if you're in a sewing panic, don't hesitate to email Laure, the queen of patterns: [email protected]
