Hello my little lemons!

Mark your calendars for Monday, August 31, 10 a.m., when Nina arrives on Wear Lemonade ! Let me introduce you to Nina mes petits chats, Nina je te présente les petits chats! I'm so happy to present her to you, because for the record, she almost didn't see the light of day... I had drawn her and then I took her out of my drawings, telling myself it was too complicated just after a overalls... And I showed my drawings to some friends and they were unanimous in saying something like: "Nonsense, if you've done it, we'll wear it straight away !!!!". I'm nothing compared to my friends, who look at me with pussycat eyes... I put my little Nina back in the collection plan under certain conditions! Laure and I worked hard on the fabric of this model to make it flattering on all shapes...

It was quite a project, with fittings on all the morphologies we had on hand, and it works! I kind of dreamed of a jumpsuit that would be like "4 girls 1 jean" that you'd try on in your best mate's closet and want to steal right away... I wanted to make 3/4 batwing sleeves, that could be rolled up to the elbow for adventure, or to the biceps for the 80s, or left alone as is because that's good too! And to feminize the top, there's still the boat neckline so dear to my heart, and a waist that's tight but not too tight thanks to an elastic band! And for the bottom, it's a pair of carrot pants, and with a high waist, you feel like you've got endless legs even if you're 1m60 tall... (true story). And last but not least, you've got two pocket flaps on the buttocks, so you can make your buttocks look really high, because there's nothing worse than a pantsuit that gives everything away in the front and forgets about the back, making your buttocks look sad...

For the material, we looked for a fabric that wouldn't wrinkle, a slightly heavy crepe that would give a nice allure to the cut. I imagined the kind of piece you want to wear all the time, that comes out of the machine in the evening and you can put on the next morning without going through the dreaded ironing! Nina is just one piece, but it's a complete outfit that you can wear for those days when you don't know what to wear and suddenly you've got a fiery look with lipstick and pumps, for those days when you want to feel comfortable in your sneakers and bun, that you can take with you in your suitcase, wrinkle-free and always ready, in short I'm so happy that Nina is coming next week! Oh yes, I wanted to tell you that the legs are long enough to fit taller girls, so don't panic, just cut them off and make a little hemwe've shown you how hereYou can also make lapels, and I suggest you do a little hand-stitching to fix them on the side seams, and you're all set for the start of the new school year!
