Hello my little cats!
No happy friday today, but we're still talking about clothes! And not just any garment, but the Lola dress. My new best friend, my autumn uniform, a piece of clothing for a good resolution. She's got a deceptively wise first-class look that I love. I'm such a fan of the slightly high collar, which we managed to work out with Laure (our pattern queen) for the blouse pattern. Biancablouse pattern, that I was desperate for it to find a place on a little dress. I find that a shirt collar always finishes off an outfit, a bit like a lipstick... So the little Lola dress, comes on Wearlemonade.com on Wednesday 30th at 10am sharp!
Lola is the little dress I wanted to be easy, feminine without being tight. I don't like cuts that are too close to the body, you know those close-fitting cuts in which you feel good in the morning, and often in the afternoon you feel cramped... And at the same time, to give you an indication, it's closer to the body than the Bianca blouse, one of our first patterns, which you found too loose. I think we've found a happy medium with this one! For its colorful variation, it's available in ultramarine blue to wear with a denim jacket, or with a black collarless jacket and plumetis tights! I've been meaning to tell you this, so don't hesitate to post photos of yourself in your Wear Lemonade clothes on social networks to inspire us with combinations and looks! The second version is an inky blue with white cherries, I love this pattern, I think you forget about the cherries and the pattern becomes a kind of graphic composition... Anyway Lola, I love you and I can't wait to take my patterns from the office to store them in my closet!
And as we like to organize little events for each launch, we've got a nice surprise for Parisians... More seriously, I'll tell you about the pattern and all its specifics on Wednesday, as well as all the versions it's possible to imagine (I've already got 3 to my credit)... And for those of you who are curious, I'm wearing Lola in size S (size 36/38), so all the information on measurements will be in the product sheet. To give you an indication, the ultramarine blue Lola dress in the photo is a size M and therefore a hair too big, while the cherry one is a size S... Derbies!
