Hello company!

I hope you're all well, I'm totally on another planet, one I've never been to before! It's so good! For those of you who've been here before, I don't need to introduce you to the Lemonade Shop, and for everyone else: Welcome! On the corner of 14 rue du château d'eau and 18 rue de Lancry, 2 addresses for the same place, lucky you! We're only here for another 2 weeks, packing up on October 30, but in the meantime we're open Wednesday to Sunday from 11am to 8pm! How crazy is that? Come and see us at our pop-up store! Pop up, what a funny expression, a bit like the sound of a chewing-gum bubble growing, then bursting, only to start up again a little later... Or like a store that suddenly blooms in an unexpected context! I think the word "pop-up" illustrates the ephemeral nature of things!

Many of you have asked us why just one month? To see if it would be busy, to get a feel for what it's like to run a store, to grapple with the problems of organization, space, scheduling, stock, merchandising, payment systems and so on.

Already in two weeks, it's pretty clear, it's a huge job! It's thanks to the super structure of the Semaest which is owned by the city of Paris and aims to revitalize a district by making premises available at advantageous prices, in order to change the face of certain parts of the city. And our ephemeral boutique is set up in the 10th arrondissement's "commerce tester"! As a result, I'm dreaming of opening our real boutique in the area, like all the predecessors of this little duck-green shop. Rue du Château d'Eau and the surrounding area are changing fast, and I'm hoping that we'll have a lucky star to help us find what we're looking for in the area too!

So the word "pop-up store" is probably the one I'm using the most at the moment; it's a bit like my own Gilles de la Tourette syndrome... Obviously, it's giving me ideas for what's next, like a real store with workshops linked to the collections, and bigger spaces too... And above all, it's giving me a lot of energy, which is a real lifesaver at the moment! It's as if fatigue and germs couldn't get to me any more (or only a little), and as if meeting you and getting your feedback in real life were like a new drug, a source of inspiration! Thank you for that too!

Thanks to Alexandra and JM from PaperMint for these magnificent window displays, and for their unfailing support and kindness. And thanks to Benoit for his availability and poster-gluing dexterity!

It's such a strange feeling to see you wearing the clothes we imagined, and to see you leave with them! In my mind, it's literally the Big Bang. There's nothing new under the sun, you might say. It's been over a year since we embarked on the Wear Lemonade adventure. But now it's physical, the Internet is a revolution, but we don't see you leaving with your little floral tote bag under your arm... The collection is going so fast it's making my head spin! For those of you who are interested, to fill our shelves, we've made a selection of pieces from our old collections, to bring something new to our little boutique!

For Parisians and those passing through the capital, you still have 15 days to visit us; for all the others, I hope that in a few months' time, we'll be able to welcome you for good! I'll leave you with some photos of the place.

Thank you to the whole lemonade studio team for the energy you put into this project, and to all my friends and family! Many thanks to Farrow & Ball for the store's crazy colors, to Leroy Merlin for the materials we used to build our shelves with holes and our lemonade stand on wheels! Many thanks to Hans Boodt for letting us customize their mannequins! Many thanks to Am.pm for the furniture in our coworking and workshop space! Many thanks to Sonos and Apple for all the technology you've provided to make our experience unique! And thanks to Deliveroo for supporting all our events!
