Hello my little cats!

It's been a bit of a rush these last few days, and I have to admit that with 10 days to go before my wedding, I'm feeling a bit stressed, nothing insurmountable, but it happens! So I've been making myself scarce for a while, but it's all the better for coming back, as I'm in the middle of writing lots of posts that I intend to share with you during my little post-wedding vacation! So today, I'm back with a subject that's a little different, and not so much after all! Some time ago, I met one of the founders of Gemmyofounder, Fanny Boucher, and I can't tell you how much I've fallen in love with her. A crush, but I'll tell you more about that later in a "good people" portrait. Gemmyo is an internet-only brand, where you can buy jewelry and especially incredible rings for all budgets... And their principle is that they manufacture to order, so there's no stock, but I'll tell you more about that later.

And last week Gemmyo opened its showroom where you can come by appointment to try on jewelry. Fanny asked us to design a graphic, wedding-themed window display in the colors of her now-famous pink cat campaign. Quite quickly, given the limited space available in the window, Fanny decided she wanted a pièce montée... I drew up the plan and gave free rein to my sweet Charlotte to create this beautiful baby. And I'm terribly proud of her and her creation of the Gemmyo packaging in pastel paper, the work of a goldsmith.... I'll let her tell you all about it.

See you tomorrow, my little cats! Lisa

Hello otters!

It's back-to-school time (I've searched in vain for a gif or photo of an otter with a schoolbag...)! Yes, it's September 22, but we're living in a time-space rift at the studio and I haven't had a chance to show you behind the scenes at the office yet, but believe me, we've got no shortage of exciting projects here. Today I'm going to tell you about this little project we did for Gemmyo. I say "little" project, because it's the kind of project for which, for days on end, I keep our infernal paper-cutting machine ("Michel" for friends) working. So I folded, glued and assembled. And a week at Lemonade Studio goes by in the blink of an eye, hence the "little project". I love this type of mission, which keeps me busy for hours on end, and it's great to see this cake take shape!

Once the bases were assembled, we decided to cover them with fragments from the Gemmyo campaign, but yes, I'm sure you've already seen this little pink cat at the bend of a metro station, and I promise we're talking about photo retouching here, so no abused little creatures! As you can see, the result is very '80s, and I must confess I love the '80s and the crazy K-Ways that go with it.

And to top it all off (as you know, simplicity and us make 3) I revisited the Gemmyo box in a paper version in all the colors of the campaign. I hope you like the result as much as we do, so you can go and admire the wonders of Gemmyo and our pièce montée in their showroom by appointment: 21 rue de Seine, 75006 Paris!

Charlotte
