A few days after the Milk et Chanel event, Alexandre R. contacted me with a proposal to design small Diptyque 34 boulevard saint Germain boutiques, drawings for the windows of the new l'eau du 34 fragrance (I'll come back to this very soon), as well as a small gift to offer to customers and Internet users. After smiling and thinking for a nanosecond, I obviously said yes. So here's the story of this little collaboration. It's the first time I've taken part in a project with such a great team, and such efficient and passionate service providers. In short, I'm delighted and hope you enjoy the project as much as I enjoyed contributing to it.

I've got to tell you a bit about this 34 story, because it's really worth the detour. This perfume is the unlikely marriage of all the olfactory imprints left by the candles, eaux de toilettes, or even the old waxed wood of the boutique's furniture. This brilliant idea of putting the mythical boutique at 34 boulevard st Germain on the map is the work of Olivier Pescheux, perfumer at Givaudan.

Two years later, in 2013, it became obvious that the boutique's scent would change with the seasons, the flowers in the store and the arrival of spring. So after the success of 34 saint germain, Diptyque decided to offer a new facet of this fragrance: eau du 34. I'll let you discover it, it's a perfume for everyone, and in this new fragrance, there's something carefree that still touches me just as much....

And as the icing on the cake, I've prepared a little Diptyque boutique template for you to assemble yourself. Download it here HEREIf your printer allows it, print on blotting paper and spray perfume (on the unprinted side) to diffuse a delicious scent in your home.
