how to sew fiona overalls?

In my dressing room, there are Frida dresses, Mona perfectos galore, and for as long as I can remember, the foundation of my closet has been dungarees. And I thought it was an aberration that we didn't yet have any "dressed" Wear Lemonade dungarees! So it's been over 2 years since we launched the patterns, and I thought it might be too complicated to make our own sophisticated model. But after Paloma, the little short dungarees that are now only available via our pdf subscription, and your ease in making them in all styles, I thought we needed a more chic one that we could wear all year round, and which would also be ultra-simple to make, almost a "minute sewing" project. Mission impossible? Not counting the talent of our pattern queen, Laure! And this time, she's really done it, because she's found a way to create a dungaree with a crazy look, yet with an ultra-simple level of realization! Laure, if you're reading me (I'm pretty sure she will be soon) I love you, thank you for Fiona and all the rest, but Fiona! I think I'll soon have a pair of seventies overalls for every day of the week (I've already got 3, I'm planning a vertical striped one for soon!).

FionaFiona is a pair of dungarees with a flare cut, or a bell-bottom cut, depending on whether you're a disco fan or not... Whatever the width of the lower legs with its high waist, it makes legs look like miles... It's not too tight around the thighs (we love it), it's high-waisted, with a slightly wide waistband that erases the little muffin on the hips (oh yes!), it's got large patch pockets, and it's not too tight around the thighs (we love it).), and large patch pockets on the buttocks that lift you up Wonderbra-style (amen). Fiona is your slimming program before the beach! Seriously though, it's really simple and perfect for beginners who'd like to take on a sewing challenge... It can be worn with or without crossed straps, with real jeans snaps or pretty buttons, it's really up to you! So I'm planning to make one with little sky-blue and white denim-style stripes and another midnight-blue one with polka dots (you can't do that again), but I'd like to make a pale pink one too, but I haven't found the right pink. I'm afraid that from a distance it would look like I was naked, if you know what I mean... The dilemma of the perfect pale pink, beware of the nude and beware of the PQ effect. Difficult subject, but I'm not defeated!

So I wasn't lying, it's really so cool and easy to make Fiona if you cut the fabric in advance, I think it's done in 3 hours... promise! What you need to know about Fiona :

• The boss is hereand the pdf version is available in your subscription area!
• You'll need 2m80 of fabric for a width of 1m40 for the largest size, or 3m of fabric for a width of 1m10 for the largest size.
• I advise you to use a slightly thick fabric that holds together, such as corduroy, denim, tartan or even deckchair fabric!
• You'll also need 2 nice buttons
• 1 small button, or a press stud or trouser clip for the back belt!
• 1 22 cm pant zipper!
• And 3 episodes of your favorite series!
