Hello cats!

I hope you're well, freshly so it seems! Today I'd like to talk about a great project we've been working on for the past few months. We came up with 5 express tutorials for André shoes! The idea wasn't necessarily to destroy the shoes, but to do simple things that have a big impact! The idea was also to have something for everyone: those who know how to sew, those who prefer to paint, those who only have 1h to devote to it, and even those who only have 20min... These are DIYs for beginners, in which you won't take too many risks, and which will be perfect for getting back into the gymnastics of your 10 fingers! In short, as you can see, we've tried to offer you simple and varied DIYs. I hope you like the results! For my part, my favorites are the punk socks and the stuffed tongue, both simple and effective. What more could you ask for? Thanks to André for trusting us with this lovely project! On your scissors, birds!

Love to you all!

Lisa

For these maxi pompoms, you need 20 minutes and :
- Black leather booties, with tongues
- A 0.5cm wide spool of suedette
- A pair of scissors
- Glue
- A notebook or cardboard about 15cm high.

For these rhinestone derbies, you need 1 hour of time and :

  • derbies, here André,
  • big rhinestones,
  • leather needle and cord thread,
  • silver and glitter nail polish.

To begin, open your buckles to access the tongue - the leather is softer! Take your rhinestones and arrange them to make a "pattern". Don't hesitate to take a photo if you're afraid you'll forget.

Use nail polish to opacify some of your rhinestones and add depth to the overall effect. Leave to dry thoroughly!

Place the central rhinestone as a base for sewing the others around it. Secure the rhinestones with your leather needle and thread - don't hesitate to use a thimble!

And Ta-Da!

For the stuffed tabs! You'll need 45 minutes and :

- faux fur,
- a large needle and thread,
- a good pair of scissors
- razor
- a ruler
- pencil and paper.

- Angelus, a special leather paint we've found. here.
- Patterns for inspiration.
- Kitchen pipette and masking tape.

For this DIY you need 5 minutes top chrono and :

  • a pair of lurex socks,
  • nails in various shapes, available at the Droguerie
  • flat-nose pliers,
  • a little patience.

Take your nails, they have little notches that will allow you to fix them to the socks. Prick the first one through the sock.

Grab your flat-nose pliers and bend the notches to secure the nail. Make sure you press firmly so that the notch lies flat and doesn't damage your ankle later on.

Continue in this way, alternating the different nail shapes!

Do the same on your second sock! And Ta-Da!
