The kittens,

I've never worked as hard as I did when I didn't have a real job! It's so great, every day it's a new project, with its share of surprises (and a bit of stress too), and the next day a completely different part, a new challenge, a new client... knock on wood, as long as it lasts! It's a real delight at the moment and I've handed in all my copies, so I'm here to debrief you on my express trip to New York... Lucky me, I'm off with the team from Gemey Maybelline and I'm telling you, I was super impressed and I got all small and took half a million photos, a bit like a paparazzi lucky enough to bump into Johnny Deep making out with Monica Belluci... You know?

Well, I felt so privileged for 4 days, I saw some crazy backstages, discovered the secret of street style, saw some sublime collections and attended the shooting as if nothing had happened! Gemey Maybelline 2014with 12 muses, each more atomic than the last.... A little mouse with a camera glued to her face... The cherry on the cheesecake was that this departure coincided with the week of Make My Lemonade's 1 year anniversary... What a long way we've come and what a damn fine gift, for me who, as you know, is a lover of this city. This time I haven't gone into detail about the best addresses, as I'm sure you had your fill on my last trip...

This time, I wanted to bring you colors, color palettes. Many of you have asked me what inspires me, and well, it's EVERYTHING, from the detail of a traffic light standing out against a taupe background, a pair of cosmic sneakers, to the lipstick gradation on a magazine page.... I'm a real sponge... So where do you find your inspiration? I'll be back soon with more articles on this trip, and this time I've got some addresses for men, unearthed by the lovely Hana May! I'll also be showing you some of my backstage images and street style madness...
