Hello my little cats!

I present you the sweet Lolaperfect for this autumn, it brightens up gray days and can be worn with a little pair of black plumetis tights, a pair of glitter boots or ballet flats, as well as a classy suit jacket or a teddy... It's an easy little dress, in fact. They're made from soft cotton, with a fluffy feel, and they're both a white collar, in a crisp poplin. As I was saying, I think white collars are a bit like lipstick: they finish off a look nicely, with a little something impeccable that I really like...

Today, for the launch of Lola, for Parisian women, we're offering 3-hour delivery to your home or workplace, with a small bouquet of flowers as a bonus. Bloom's. I can't deny that I'd love to spoil everyone, but 3-hour delivery to the little creeks of Marseille or the Medoc is a bit complicated. But I'm sure we'll find a way for you to get your dose of fresh lemonade as quickly as possible, too. In any case, for all the other inhabitants of France, you'll be entitled to a little surprise in your parcel, just for you...

Delivery takes just 3 hours from the time you order your Lola dress, thanks to our shopping service. Deliver.ee and if you order after 4pm, you reserve your precious item for next-day delivery. With Deliver.ee, we're offering you the first 100 orders, after which this ultra-fast option will still be available on Wearlemonade.com (for last-minute birthday gifts or clothing emergencies...) for the price of 7 euros. And because we wanted the news to make a splash, we also contacted the lovely website Bloom's. It's a site that lets you buy your flowers just like at the florist's, and you compose your bouquets yourself, using only flowers produced in France and, above all, in season! So it's with such a DIY spirit that we thought it was the perfect little gesture to thank you for making Wear Lemonade grow! Yellow Freesia to perfume your home sweet home or your office!

And to get back to Lola, to tell you the truth, I made 3 copies for myself. As soon as the pattern was finalized, I threw myself into it, making it in lightweight silk with a white poplin collar, in yellow, in black with white polka dots... I really love them, and I think it's the pattern I've had the most fun with behind the sewing machine so far!

Here are a few things to know about sweet Lola:

  • You can buy the sewing pattern in its beautiful packaging with the explanatory booklet and its little label here
  • You can download the pdf version for €1.99. There's no booklet, but you can use the video and the page location sheet to help you.
  • This pattern is easy, very easy... you could even say "hands-on"!
  • As for fabric consumption, it's 1m70 in a fabric with a width of 1m45, so have fun choosing the fabric you want - we can't wait to see the results! Be careful not to use too heavy a fabric, though, as the gathers may be a little less even.
  • Use a little thin fusible webbing for the collar.
  • A dress clip (1 male and 1 female).
  • As a reminder, all our Wear Lemonade patterns have a seam allowance of 1cm (except for hems, which are sometimes indicated).
  • If you're stuck or your sewing machine is temperamental, drop Laure a line: [email protected]

And don't forget to send us your work at [email protected] and we'll post the photos on our Facebook albums. here !
