Hello kittens!

Have you seen this crazy rhythm we're keeping right now? We've made some good resolutions and drawn up a publication calendar! Yes, yes, we're really doing something about it! So, on the big cork panels next to our office, right under my nose, I can see all the surprises we want to present to you over the coming weeks! It's so exciting and encouraging to see all these little yellow post-it notes, like challenges pinned to the wall! In short, today I'm proud to present you with the 5th pattern of the year, one pattern a month, and we're sticking to it! I can't hide the fact that it's hard work keeping up this pace, but it's also like a commitment to you, because receiving photos of your creations and work in progress is a real boost for us! So don't hesitate to send us all your photos on social networks with the hastag #DIYwearlemonade ... Without further ado, I present to you the perfecto MONA  !

Since last month's launch of Wear Lemonade clothing, I wanted to pick up the patterns for my three favorite garments, which I've been presenting on the blog for the past three years... The dress Fridathe perfecto Mona and next month the Ava Tutu! This morning at the office, a friend dropped by and told us she'd met some girls in the metro wearing the Mon petit chat sweater! I'm getting chills all over! I can't wait to meet you too! Without further ado, I leave you with Mona, turn up the volume and get out your sewing machine...

So here are a few things to know about this pattern:

  • - there is 1m35 of fabric consumption in a 1m40 wide fabric
  • - 4 PRYM male snaps 14mm in diameter
  • - 1 separable zip of at least 50 cm (we show you how to cut it in the video)
  • - if you've decided to use a slightly thicker gabardine-type fabric, you won't need iron-on. Otherwise, if you're making the perfecto in a Liberty-type cotton, you'll need to iron-on the collar and various parts of the lining. You'll need around 40 cm of medium fusible web.
  • - And about 4 meters of bias!
  • - Just a reminder, but it's always good to remind you here: in all Wear Lemonade patterns, the seam allowance is included in the pattern and is one centimeter (except for hems)!

The pink and white striped fabric is from the Jacquemus collection found at Etoffes du Sentier, 12 rue des Jeuneurs. Please note that you can only buy a minimum of 3 meters, so go with a friend to pool your purchases! The polka-dot fabric was found at Sacrés Coupons.

Ahah how I laugh! Hell, two Lisa's, just imagine! Sorry, this is a bit of a grimace fest! As you can see, I'm completely in love with Mona... On a more serious note, payment by credit card is available on the site later today, and for those in a hurry and less adventurous with a sewing machine, the Mona perfecto in white with black polka dots will go on sale tomorrow morning!
