Hello the company!

I'm sending you some color on this gray day! Over the past few weeks I've been sorting through my blog archives, and I realized how much I missed making colorful posts, beautiful images, a sort of small-dose inspiration for a brand or for "Love". You have no idea how much good it does my brain to imagine colorful stories. When I was younger and in low spirits, I didn't drown my depression in champagne, no, no... But I told myself I had to sit down and do something beautiful, so it was embroidery, illustration, repainting a wall in a crazy color, etc... That was my driving force... Transforming negative energy into something positive!

It was always a feast for my brain and my ten fingers. And the more the result lived up to what I had in mind, the better I felt and the prouder I became. Today it's a little different, because everyday life brings its own set of problems, as I've already told you. here rememberYou have to know how to communicate your ideas and get everyone excited about a common project!

I really want to do more projects like this one this year, it was refreshing, no pun intended, in every way. From the colorful mood board, to thinking about color schemes, ways of covering bottles, etc... So if opportunities don't present themselves regularly enough, I'd really like to be able to provoke these situations, these colorful shoots, and this creative effervescence!

Charlotte, "our queen of piñatas", has been hard at work producing these little elements. Have you seen all these little paper pebbles? It was madness! What I love about Charlotte is that "sky is the limit"... She's not afraid of anything, and she's always up for the craziest stationery challenges...

For this project with Veuve Clicquot we had to make 6 gifs, showing the bottles covered in their most beautiful paper clothes. So we've got a bit of photo equipment in the office, but not a proper photo studio either... And to make a nice gif with a light that doesn't "move" all the time with the variations in daylight, you have to go into total darkness and shoot with flashes. So if you've got blackout curtains or black partitions, that's great, but we've got neither... So one evening in December we waited for everyone to leave the office and Simoné, Charlotte and I set to work on this night shoot. It took a long, long time, but it was a good time, and I don't think we've ever made cleaner, sharper gifs than these!

For the record, this Veuve Clicquot Champagne brand has a lovely history since it's that of a woman "entrepreneur" Madame Clicquot née Ponsardin, in 1805. She lost her husband at the age of 27, who left her a Champagne house. At the time, champagne was a very sweet drink, to be enjoyed with desserts, but Madame Clicquot decided that champagne should be an alcohol that could be drunk at any time of the meal, so she lowered the sugar content of her champagne, revolutionizing the drink's consumption and market in the process! It's thanks to her that we owe champagne as we know it today... She became the first woman to run a "Champagne House" and one of the first businesswomen of the modern era... We love it!

A big kiss and see you tomorrow for more couture! Thanks to Charlotte for her fairy fingers and to Simoné for her gifs <3.
