Happy Sunday, kittens!

I'm writing to you from my windowsill, where the sun is peeking through its nose... It's so good... It really feels like spring, and even my little insomnia at the end of the night isn't so bad anymore, because I can hear the birds singing. We're on the right track, folks! So today, I'm here to tell you about a very special new hot spot: Le café lunettes de Jimmy Fairly... Special because, in addition to being brand new, I did the decoration... So you know, Jimmy Fairly is a story that's been going on for some time now. I imagined the "Lemon" pair in last September (new colors are coming very soon, by the way, but I'll keep you posted! ) Well, since January, I've been working for them as a freelance art director.

So what does that mean? Well, it means that I support the founders Antonin and Sacha in all product design choices, as well as the décor of their boutiques. From the eyewear's design intentions to the finishing touches of the blinds in the boutique, not forgetting the packaging. It's a real exercise to enter a world that's not your own... to put your own stamp on it without distorting the brand's DNA. But through mood boards and compromises, it's great to see such a large-scale project evolve. Imagine opening stores all over France, and what a challenge it is to establish your brand and distill your style in new cities! I'm delighted to be working with them on these projects, and today I'd like to introduce you to the new boutique at 45 rue Montorgueil.

Indeed, the boys wanted the boutique to be like a New York coffee shop. So, if we're going to push the concept all the way, we might as well offer coffee to customers who come in to try on or buy a new pair of glasses. And it's also a way of establishing itself in the landscape of rue Montorgeuil, which is mainly populated by food shops. I hope you'll enjoy the boutique as much as I enjoyed working on its decoration and merchandising! Right now, take advantage of Jimmy Fairly's café à l'oeil, and the marbled macaroons are signed by Griottes... I'll tell you all about the return soon! of Lemons !
