I'm sorry I didn't come to see you for this special week as often as I would have liked. I won't go into details as this is absolutely not the place but my mind was occupied with some not very funny personal things. All that aside, I'm very excited to bring you this photo shoot with the very talented Charlotte AbramowCharlotte Abramow, who's been a constant presence at the Lemonade Studio. I wanted to revisit the world of Carmen Miranda's films, with A Weekend in Havana at the top of the list! But I didn't want to be too literal: no realistic fruit headbands but rather paper ones, color but not too many ruffles, editorial madness but urban at the same time.

The preparation of this shoot took place during the preparation of the Anais Anais shoot. The office was transformed into a colorful dressing room, where tutus cohabited with giant Anne Claire Petit fruit hooks. I can't hide the fact that it was downright fun to go in search of colorful patterned pieces, and mix them together: my favorite sport at the moment.

The aim of this shoot is to transport you into a universe that's #purelycuban, exotic, colorful and fruity! The program includes cocktail recipes, of course, but also a food video and goodies. I think it's really great to be so free with this blog.

I don't know if you remember, but during the last fashion week, Nelly from Make My Beauty had driven me crazy with her Thomsen make-up for yellow eyes! Well, she was kind enough to come at dawn on a Saturday to do my make-up for this photo shoot. Since then, I've had one thing on my mind: to find this yellow Nars blush... And this shoot was also an opportunity to work with the talented Alexandra Bruel, who needs no introduction! Alex and I are in the process of teaming up on projects that are very close to our hearts... Projects in which we can experiment with new media, and we're very keen to do wallpapers, jewelry, silkscreen etc... So for this shoot, it was our debut of tropical polka-dot printed wallpapers. Our little project, our two-person collective, is called POUR L'AMOUR. To be continued!
