It's the end of summer, my dears.
Thank you for your kind words about our first boutique éphémère. It goes straight to my heart! If you only knew how much it gives us wings... My nights are getting shorter and I'm trying to think of everything, every little detail, the playlists, the lighting, the size of the room... won't the furniture be ridiculously small? And the hangers? And the payment system? And... above all, are we going to receive all our products on time? Please say a little prayer, light a candle on your desk, flood us with good vibes! I know it will go deep inside me. But the challenge is that we're going to have the keys to the place 2 days before the opening on D-Day. I sincerely thought that the impossible missions and other galleys of system D were being put behind us! But you know what? Not at all, we're right in the middle of it! But I think I've got System D in my veins, and that's something you can't change!
To tell you the truth, yesterday I went to the inauguration of a superb venue: l'appartement Simone. A place that does you good, with yoga classes and other sports activities, a healthy canteen and a coworking space, at 140 rue de Rivoli. All done with great taste and lots of wallpaper. Paper Mint wallpaper everywhere, which obviously helps... Well, it did put pressure on me. Not bad pressure, but the desire to surpass myself yet again. I want you to feel at home too, I want you to have glitter in your eyes, I want you to want to take photos, and I want you to take a little bit with you! Now the excitement is at its peak!
The hardest part is keeping the machine running, doing the accounts, meeting customers, handing in projects, preparing posts when I feel like putting on my overalls to paint the furniture we've found and make paper flowers... You know, when I finished my studies, I knew that preparing a complete collection and presenting it in front of professionals was a huge opportunity, and I wanted everything to be perfect so I wouldn't have any regrets. Well, right now I'm feeling the same way - it's a great feeling! It's with an elated heart that I've come to give you a happy friday kiss!
