Happy friday my little cats!
I hope you're well, if you're on vacation, or at the office, in any case I'm sure you're under a scorching sun... This weather is making my skirts shorten drastically. I'm discovering the joys of the mini, it's about time, sometimes I wonder what planet I'm living on... There are things I think are forbidden for me, like the mini, or the slim: "Oh no, really, that's not for me", I'd say, looking condescending, as if someone were suggesting I wear a culotte skirt... And then sometimes, on vacation or at the weekend, you get together with other girls, with your sisters, with your mother... You know that moment when the suitcases turn into a nuclear explosion in the bedroom, and you frantically try on everything between giggles and self-flagellation. Well, on a regular basis, I discover or rediscover rooms that until then hadn't even crossed my field of vision...
As you can see, the bikini and micro jean shorts look isn't in the cards for me just yet... I'm more in work mode under sweltering heat in my little floral ensemble. I'm a total fan of ensembles, so I'm scouring the internets for a coordinated powder-pink 3-piece suit to no avail. I think I'm going to invest in a made-to-measure suit... I can already see myself wearing it with a little pink gingham shirt... No, I'm not crazy! In fact, if you know of a local tailor or seamstress who could do this, I'd love to hear from you! It would be a great opportunity for a nice post.
So as you can see, when I come across a floral outfit, I go for it headfirst... I guess it's my side that doesn't do things by halves... I've got a little polka-dot overalls and matching polka-dot suit jacket look in store for you that you'll be telling me all about...
