3 WAYS TO WEAR... THE TRENCH COAT

Hello my little chestnuts! 

I hope you're all well, and that you don't mind my not returning to the previous two posts, life goes on... No focus on Halloween this year, because I have to admit that even though I'm amazed at the energy our American friends put into organizing crazy parties with the most improbable costumes... Personally, I'm going to sound like a bit of a gambler, but morbid cross-dressing makes me terribly uncomfortable, yes, because dressing up as a catwoman, a nurse and other sexy little devils isn't Halloween costume, it's disguise so as not to get too "damaged"... In short, I still haven't found the hemoglobino-petico-inspiring angle of October 31, but I'm still looking, and I think that next year I might go looking for answers on the Mexican side... To be continued, in any case at the studio we're in the midst of Christmas preparations, the spirit of Bree Van de Kamp has returned to me and you're in for a treat over the coming months... And so are we! From digression to digression, I forget the subject of the day: the three ways to wear a trench coat! I'll show you my three variations below! See you soon, my little cats...

Look n*1: Classic chic, I can imagine this look going to a professional interview, note that I'm ditching my ramshackle tote bag and opting for a nice bag, a sailor dress with a "Bardot" neckline, flat love moccasins and a few "discreet" accessories (discreet, yes I really mean it...). Be careful with the length of the trench coat: if, like me, you don't tease the metre seventy-five mark, opt for a short version, or at the very most, below the knee, otherwise beware of the robe effect. I know it's unfair, this maxi fashion, but we're resourceful, so rather than being fashionable, let's try to be stylish...

I'm wearing a dress here Asosa Zara trench coat from this fall, ersatz hereadorable jewel loafers Sarenzaa fabric flower brooch from H&M, vintage bracelets and a leather maxi pompom handbag from Tommy Hilfiger for BHI (an association fighting breast cancer), with 100 euros from each bag going to the cause.

Look n*2: Boyish but not too boyish... Sorry about the tucked-in trench collar, but it's not for lack of time spent in front of the mirror to master this hairstyle... So yes to the trench for the boyish look when going to say hello to your grandmother or to brunch with friends, but even more yes to the flowing trench, I think it falls like a dream. The only downside to the flowing trench coat is that you've just got to stop trying to get it perfect all the time. Go and put away your central steam unit, the (slightly) creased trench coat is a sign that you've got a hectic (stylish) life, and that's the most important thing... Breaking news tip: last night on my way home, I came across a young woman who had replaced the belt on her trench coat with a silk scarf... Just brilliant.

Look n*3: "Sexy chic", anything, and why not "Bohemian chic" or "Glam'rock" while we're at it... and here's an outfit, perfect for going to a dinner party with your loved one, the trench breaks the tank-truck side of your red dress. Add to this a "cute" little handbag, and you've got an outfit that calms the dangerous signal of the lace dress. Finally, socks and pumps. Okay, it's a risky mix, but one that needs to be mastered: socks yes, but not immaculate white ones, and leopard pumps that will play on the same team as this dress.
